Tamsin shook her head. “I was the only one who could do this. We both know it. Your father was going to start a war, and I know it was going to force my brothers to pick a side. I don’t want you to die, Mason. I like being married to you, and I didn’t think I’d ever be able to say that.”

“I like being married to you too.”

“Take me home,” Tamsin said. “Please.”

He stood and lifted Tamsin into his arms. She let out a squeal, but he ignored it and carried her out to the car.

Paul Savonas was dead. Mason had already come to terms with what he was going to do, and he knew he was going to spend the rest of his life making it up to Tamsin. She shouldn’t have killed him, he would have found a way, but she had solved all their problems, and for that, he would be eternally in her debt. And it wasn’t a bad place to be either.

Epilogue

One Year Later

Mason looked over at his beautiful wife. She looked so radiant in the sun and of course, he couldn’t help but reach out and touch his hand to her swollen stomach, where their child lay.

She gave a sigh and offered him a smile as she put her hand on top of his. They were due in four months. So far, the pregnancy had been a good one. Tamsin was tired, and the sickness had been hard to deal with. He’d been with her every morning, holding her hair back as she threw up. He was also the one to make her tea and toast to help settle her stomach.

Coffee was out the window. Also, she had a sudden hatred for cheese. Again, he didn’t question her, but he did whatever she needed. The past year without Paul Savonas breathing down their necks had been a breeze.

He had a new deal in place with the Delcoties, which focused more on combining their strengths and opening several new ventures, including nightclubs and restaurants. It was early days, but Mason had high hopes for them.

When it came to his association with the Dentons, that was also getting stronger. Tamsin made sure to visit her brothers often, and in doing so, they no longer hated him. In fact, Jacob had even agreed he was a Denton in name and heart as well.

Mason didn’t mind. He would always be a Savonas, but he knew he was like his grandfather, and nothing like his father.

“I have a surprise for you,” Mason said.

He’d already looked across her shoulder and saw them approaching.

“How? There are people around.”

Mason chuckled and kissed her cheek. “Not that kind of surprise, but don’t worry, I have something planned for later, when it’s just you and me.”

“Well, hello there, sport.”

Tamsin’s eyes went wide and she turned to look behind her.

Landon and Tulip, or more importantly Tulip and David West, stood behind her, complete with their baby girl and son. She got to her feet and threw her arms around Landon’s neck.

Mason stood close to her and looked at Landon. The other man nodded his head, and then held his hand out. Even as he hugged Tamsin, he shook Mason’s hand.

“Tamsin, I’d like you to meet my wife, Tulip,” Landon said.

Tears fell down Tamsin’s cheeks, but she pulled Tulip in for a hug, but was also careful as Tulip held a baby girl. The little boy was in Landon’s hands.

“I’m also a father,” he said. “This is Peach and … Maddox.”

Tamsin let out a gasp. “It is so good to see you.”

“Well, when my buddy Mason here said he was going on vacation and taking his very pregnant wife with him, I figured it was a good time to go on vacation myself.”

Tamsin went back to him, and Mason held her tight against his side and kissed the top of her head.

It had been nearly four years since she last saw Landon. That was a long time to go without seeing her brother.

Mason knew it was a risk, but he had found a way to locate the other Denton man. He had covered his tracks, and no one would think any differently. It was a risk, but it had been one Landon wanted to take.

Tamsin turned back to him as Tulip and Landon got to work on putting out a blanket on the beach beside them.

“Thank you,” she said.

She wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tightly.

“I’d do anything for you, Tamsin. Anything.”

And he would.
