Her hands crept around my neck.

I could feel her trembling. I wanted to take her up in my arms and never let go, but I could feel the moment passing like a gentle breeze—fleeting yet ever-present.

At that moment, common sense slammed back into me. What the hell was I doing? I was in my fucking car in broad daylight. Lillian was not some bimbo I had hooked up with in a bar. She could lodge a sexual harassment complaint against me. And she would damn well win her case too. I could lose everything I’d worked so hard for.

This rough taking was not at all how I planned it.

I tore my mouth away from her and drew back staring at her. The look of unspoken longing and desire swimming in her eyes robbed me of breath. Then as if she was suddenly shaken out of her bubble of unthinking hunger, her eyes widened. She let out a little cry of horror and fumbled with the door. Pushing it open, she stumbled out.

I sat there staring at her as she ran to her entrance. I watched in a daze as she fished out her keys from her handbag, and fumbled with inserting them into the door a few times before she pushed it open and let it shut behind her. I wanted to follow her. The desire was so overwhelming, that I gripped the steering wheel hard enough to make my knuckles show white.

Jesus!

Taking a deep breath, I stepped on the gas and drove out of there, my mind awhirl with confusion, but after that initial shock and disappointment at my clumsy, reckless method, I remembered the video. I had the video. There was not a tribunal in the world who would decide against me after watching that.

Now that I knew I was safe, I couldn’t stop replaying that savage kiss over and over as I drove home. Who would have thought that impossible-to-ruffle Miss Lillian had it in her to be so hot-blooded… so passionate?

I wanted more.

If she was that responsive to a mere kiss, how would she be in my bed with my cock buried deep inside her? How would she react if I grazed her nipples with my teeth?

Was she right now changing out of her wet panties? Or was she rubbing herself to ease the ache between her legs?

Chapter 12

Lillian

Iburst into my apartment as if somebody was chasing me; my breath coming out in huge gasps. I leaned against the door and closed my eyes, trying to process what had just happened. I'd never done anything so impulsive before; I lifted a finger to touch my lips – they were swollen, but it was a delicious sensation.

My body quivered with arousal, and my panties were soaked.

I shouldn’t have let Mr. Frost kiss me, let alone react like that. A tight slap would have been more appropriate. Why had I reacted that way, angling my body towards him and moaning like a complete slut? How was I going to face him tomorrow?

I thought of that kiss again and groaned aloud. At least, I hadn't made the first move, I comforted myself. Was he attracted to me the same way I was to him, or had it just been a jerk move on his part?

Either way, I shouldn't have reacted the way I did. But I couldn’t seem to control myself around him. Truth be told, Mr. Frost had an irresistible animal magnetism that drew me to him as no man had ever done—that was the only explanation I could come up with as to why I had reacted the way I did.

Any other man and I swear, I would have slapped him.

I groaned again and covered my face with my hands, embarrassed and horrified at what an idiot I'd been—a horny, stupid idiot. I made myself move to the bathroom, shedding my clothes as I walked. My nipples ached for his touch. After showering, I grabbed a towel and headed to my bedroom, just as my phone began ringing from somewhere inside my handbag.

Rummaging around I found it. It was Mom. The last person I wanted to talk to, but I answered just in case it was some emergency.

“Hey, Mom.”

“Honey, I just got the letter from the Insurance Company to say the full yearly sum has been taken out of the account. Do you have enough?”

“It’s okay, Mom. I set it up that way to take advantage of the discount.”

“So… you’re not short?”

“No, I’m not short.”

The relief in her voice was evident. “Oh good. I just wondered.”

“Everything is fine, Mom.”

“You know, the offer to come live here with me still stands.”

“Thanks. Who knows? I might take you up on it one of these days.”

She laughed. “I’d love that.”

“Mom, I just got out of the shower…”

“Oh right. Well, you better go get dressed then. Goodnight, darling.”
