“W-what are you going to do to them?” I don’t miss the way her tongue darts out and wets her bottom lip.

“Oh, sweet Charlotte.” My voice lowers, and I cock my head to the side. So I might have searched the school directory until I found out her name. And I might have even discovered where she lives. “I’m going to ruin them.”

She’s off limits. Out of bounds. Untouchable. Yet I can’t seem to stop my hand from reaching out and dragging my finger along the waistband of her leggings. She swallows hard as she looks up at me through her lashes.

“You shouldn’t be in here.” My fingers move lower, down the front of her leggings. “You should turn around and run out of here as fast as you can.”

When she stays rooted to the spot, it makes my cock throb. Wrong, wrong, wrong. This is so wrong. She’s too young.

The slight mound of her pussy is hot as I trace my fingers along the seam of her cunt. I pause when I feel a wet spot, and it makes my mouth water. When I rub against it, her breath catches in her throat.

“Stop looking at me like that,” I tell her as I lean closer.

“Like what?” Her dark eyes never flinch, and she doesn’t pull away.

“Like you want it.” I rub the wet spot and then press against it. She gasps in pleasure, and my control threatens to break. I’m so fucking hard. All I can think about is putting her on my dick and cumming inside her. Every instinct tells me to mark her, claim her, breed her.

“What if I do?” she asks, and I feel her breath against my mouth.

“Then we’re both in trouble.”

A sound outside my office has my head snapping up, and it’s the thing I need to stop whatever this is. I jump back from her like she’s on fire, and as hot as her little body was, it might have been. It’s like a bucket of ice water has been poured over my head, and I immediately hate the distance between us.

“You need to stay away from me.” I know I sound angry, and it’s because I am. I’ve never been one to break the rules, and now I’m close to tossing the rule book in a woodchipper. “Don’t let me get you alone.”

“As if I had a choice? You dragged me in here.” She wraps her arms around herself, and I wish I could hold her.

Fuck.

“Then don’t make it so fucking easy for me next time,” I snap. She looks hurt, and I growl in frustration. The last thing I want to do is hurt her feelings, but we can’t do this.

Without another word, I stomp out of my office and slam the door closed behind me. Most of the locker room is emptied, but I see a couple of players messing around with the equipment. That was the noise I heard, but they clearly didn’t know I was in my office.

“Rogers!” I bark, and one of the guys drops the bag of footballs. “You two put that shit up and get out of here.”

“Yes, Coach Shay,” the guys say in unison.

They stuff the equipment in the closet then run out of the locker room like their ass is on fire. Off to the side, I see Charlotte’s blond friend waiting.

“Is she still changing?” the bubbly girl asks. She really is the complete opposite of the dark-haired beauty I can’t seem to quit.

“I don’t know,” I answer honestly and glance back at my office.

“I’ll go peek my head in and check on her.” I can feel her eyes searching my face. I don’t know what she’s looking for, but after a second or two, she lets out a soft hum like she’s come to a conclusion. “See you later, Coach Shay.”

I make my way out of the locker room and to my truck. There are still lots of cars in the parking lot as parents take their kids home and fans empty the stadium. I take a seat behind the wheel, but I don’t take off right away. I tell myself that I’m just making sure she gets to her car safely.

A few minutes later, Charlotte exits the building with her blond friend. I watch as the two of them walk over to a black Bronco and Charlotte gets in the driver’s side. I crank up my truck, and as they pull out of the parking lot, I turn in the same direction.

I’m telling myself that I’m just making sure she gets home okay, but lying to myself is easy.

She drops her friend off, then after a mile or two, she turns into another neighborhood, and I hang back. When I see which driveway she pulls into, I wait for her to get out of her Bronco before I pull over. I shut my truck off and look around to make sure no one is nearby. The houses are spread out with large lots between them, so there’s no one else in sight.
