Sienna's fingers brush my suit jacket. "You look handsome."

"You too."

"I want to touch you so badly. But I know… not here." She doesn't add and maybe not at all, if that's what you want, but it's in the air.

It's not what I want, but it might be what I need.

I want to be there, I do, but I'm already overwhelmed by her presence. "Get your coat. Meet me at your place."

"Are you sure?"

Is she asking because Ty might catch us? Or because she wants to know I'm ready to fuck her? Either way, the answer is the same. "No. But I can't wait another second. I need to kiss you. After that, I'm not sure, but I need to kiss you."

"Okay."

"I'll go first. Wait five minutes, then leave."

"Hold on." She pulls something from her purse. A tiny key attached to a sleek silver key ring. One with my initials. "I figured… just in case."

"You always prepare, sweetness?"

"For you, yeah." She slips the key into my pocket. Runs her fingers over my wrist. "I missed you."

"I missed you too."

Her cheek brushes mine as she pulls away. She takes a step backward, surveys the room, nods now, and heads to the coat check.

I take the stairs to the lobby, then I walk to her building, let myself into her flat, ask myself if I'm ready.

The answer is the same.

I don't know.

I only know I need her.

I really fucking need her.

Chapter Fifty-Six

Cam

Sienna's flat still screams of her. No, it's even more her. More vibrant and alive.

Christmas lights, lyrics scribbled on the desk in hot pink and bright orange, coats hanging on a rack by the door, a bottle of my favorite wine on the counter.

Her footsteps steal my attention. She unlocks the door quietly, slips inside, presses it closed.

She gives me a long, slow once-over, then she follows my gaze to the wine. "I stole it from Ty."

"You stole it?"

She nods. "He bought two dozen bottles. He won't miss this one."

"You could have said you bought it."

"Why would I blow a grand on a bottle of wine?" She shakes her head no way. "Some of us aren't made of money."

"Then what are you doing in that designer jacket?"

Her lips curl into a coy smile. "This old thing." She tugs at the sides of the blazer, spins, lands on her toes. "Some guy gave it to me."

"Some guy?"

"Yeah. I think his name was… Hunter or something."

"Hunter or something?"

"Yeah. Something like that." She moves closer. "Maybe, uh… maybe Hunt."

"Some guy with the same last name as your brother-in-law?"

"Yeah, I think they're related." She takes another step toward me. Another. "Pretty fucked up, huh? He's technically my cousin."

"Is he?"

"Cousin-in-law, I guess. Is that a thing?"

"I've never heard of it."

"Yeah. Me either." She stops at the bottle. "You want some?"

"One glass." I'm terrified, but I want to feel this.

"Now?" Her fingers brush the bottle. "Or after?"

"After?"

"Well…" Her eyes fix on me. "After whatever you're ready to do."

"Come here."

"Now?"

I nod now.

"The same rules as always?"

"Yes."

Her eyes light up. "You're going to fuck me."

"Sweetness, if it's the same rules as always, what do you think I'm going to say to that?"

"Maybe, uh… 'yes, Sienna, I've spent the last four months fucking myself to you every night. I can't deny how much I want you.'"

"I did."

"Me too." She picks up the bottle opener and offers it to me. "I fucked myself to you almost every night."

"Almost?"

"Sometimes, I was too tired," she admits.

"You didn't say anything."

"Should I have?"

"No." I'm not glad she didn't, exactly, but it was what I needed. "You were perfect."

"I was perfect?" Her fingers brush mine as she hands me the bottle opener. "Do you know how much self-control it's taking not jumping you right now? Not demanding an answer? Not demanding you fuck me or leave?" Her fingers brush my wrist. "It's killing me."

"It's killing me too."

"You never show it."

"I know." I open the bottle, pour two glasses, hand one to her.

Again, her hand brushes mine. This time, she doesn't fight her sigh. "You said you needed to kiss me."

"I do."

"And you're all the way over there."

"I know."

"So…"

"I told you to come here," I say.

"You don't want wine first?"

I shake my head.

She swallows half her glass in one sip, sets the thing on the counter.

"That's a waste of good wine." I set my glass next to hers.

"What about this?" She downs the rest then she closes the distance between us.

Her eyes meet mine. For a moment, they study me, then they flutter closed and her lips find mine.

Her kiss is overwhelming.

Soft, sweet, tender.

Wine and Sienna.

I pull her closer, kiss her harder.

Her lips part to make way for my tongue.

Her groan vibrates down my throat.

When she pulls back, I'm shaking.

"Fuck." Her fingers dig into my chest. "You need to tell me, Cam. If you can't handle more, you need to tell me, because I'm going to lose control if I kiss you again."
