Daddy patted the spot next to him on the couch, and I was there in a second.

He hugged me to him and kissed the top of my head.

“Did you and Cam ever set any boundaries in your relationship?” Lucian asked.

“Yes, Sir.” I nodded. “Closed for love—except when we pined for your asses—and open for kink.”

Lucian smiled at Cameron. “Then I believe we can find a strong foundation on which to build something.” He turned to Daddy and me. “Given our situation, Cam and I definitely want an openness between the four of us. We don’t, however, have any desire to include any outsiders for play. Beyond nonsexual, of course.”

I was actually relieved, mostly on Cameron’s behalf, that Lucian felt the same as he did. Because Cameron needed his world smaller more than I did.

That said…I had to make one thing crystal clear. “Just for the record, I have no interest in seeking out others to play with. The dream I lost hope in was to find…you know—” I jerked my thumb at Daddy “—this guy. I did lose hope. So I started chasing substitutes. I’ve called other men Daddy without a care—because why not? The title didn’t mean that much anymore. Then Cameron insisted on dragging me out here, and I went to war with all my old feelings and my anger, and…it didn’t fucking matter, because as soon as I laid eyes on KC again, I knew he was my Daddy. He made the title matter. He is that title for me. So other men…” I shrugged. “I’m here for us four. Nobody else.” When I noticed Cameron’s soft smile turn a little bit mischievous, I had to add the rest too. He knew me too well. “But yeah, okay, if I find myself in the middle of a sexual scene involving someone else, sure, I’m game.”

Daddy squeezed me hard. “I understand what you mean. And I’m so damn sorry—”

“Nooo,” I complained. “I didn’t say that to lay on the guilt, Daddy. I’m just trying to explain that Cameron is sacred to me, but since we couldn’t be each other’s Doms, we had to find that elsewhere, and they weren’t sacred. Got it? Same. Rules. Don’t. Apply. The equation has changed. New dynamic, new Noa. Or same Noa but with—” That was where he cut me off with a hand over my mouth.

I licked his palm.

He didn’t react to it. “I understand, baby. I’m with you.”

“We all are,” Lucian murmured.

Daddy nodded.

Cameron walked over to Lucian and kneeled before him, and I couldn’t see his expression from here, but Lucian seemed to understand.

“You may speak, darling.”

“Thank you, Master.” Cameron shifted in his position to face me. “I know you very well, Noa. I know when you feel insecure about possibly causing trouble for others. You’ve felt that way with me a few times, and I’ve told you over and over that you don’t have to be apologetic for enjoying group play. I’ve told you repeatedly that I understand the difference between what goes on in kink and outside of it. You’re one of the most loyal guys I know. So please stop acting like you’re doing something wrong. And for chrissakes, I’ve been there with you all along. I’ve been open too. We’ve played together and separately on multiple occasions.”

Yeah, well. “You’ve been less of a fan of it—particularly toward the end,” I muttered stubbornly.

I knew he was right…

I just didn’t want anything to go wrong.

“The end? Are we ending something?” He cocked a brow at me. “And tough shit. That’s how I am. You accept me for who I am, don’t you? Guess what—I accept you for who you are too. Partly because you’ve always made sure I know where I have you. I’ve never once doubted your devotion to me. Last but not least, you and I can finally focus on being kink brothers, and I’ve wanted that for ages because I love you, dipshit. Can we move on now?”

Why did he have to say that last part?! I couldn’t scowl at him now!

I fought a smirk. “Love you too, dickhole. Sure, let’s move on.”

Daddy and Lucian looked at each other, not without humor in their eyes.

“Well.” Lucian cleared his throat. “That was both sweet and…”

“Colorful,” Daddy supplied.

“Colorful.” Lucian inclined his head. “And color is something KC and I have missed for a very long time, so I can’t complain.”

Daddy threaded his fingers through my hair and scratched my scalp. I liked that a whole lot.

“I wanna add a rule,” I said, closing my eyes in pleasure. “I’m not allowed to partake in any organized scenes—like over at the house—without a Top. I know I can get careless when I’m eager…”

“You don’t say?” Daddy mused. “It’s a fine rule. In order to participate, Lucian or I have to be there.”
