Day smoothed his hands over his ponytail. “You didn’t make a mistake... you may’ve just saved one of our lives. We trust you, God. I trust you.”
“C’mere,” God said roughly, then took his mouth.
Day let his husband lose himself for a couple of minutes as the kiss turned passionate. Capable hands roamed over his back, squeezing and kneading until God reached his ass. He breathed heavily against God’s throat, his cock beginning to throb as God sank even lower, his big palm gripping his balls from behind.
“Dammit,” Day groaned, trying to make some space between them. “Okay, okay, stop.”
God grabbed him by his gun harness as ecstasy ignited in his eyes, and yanked him back to him. Oh shit. Day tried to break the trance, but he was getting sucked under too. “Cash, wait.”
God growled and bit at his jaw and neck as he devoured his mouth. What the fuck had he done? Day’s eyes widened in shock as he was spun around and pushed against the counter. “Jesus Christ,” Day moaned as he half-heartedly struggled to get free.
He heard the rattling of God’s belt buckle, knowing he should stop this, but his hands went to his own belt. It was no secret they were mad about each other, everyone knew it, but he and God were the epitome of professionalism at the office. Neither of them ever wanted to abuse the privileges they’d been given. Not to mention they were role models that the younger officers looked up to. How could they explain fucking in the precinct bathroom?
God’s hot, panting breaths were loud in his ear, and the second his husband’s heated flesh touched his back, Day bent forward.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Day’s eyes flew open and he sprang upwards so fast he almost knocked God into one of the stalls. Syn burst through the door with a scowl that could’ve sent them both six feet under.
“Are you fucking serious right now?” their sergeant snarled, glancing behind him to make sure no one was around. “What the fuck are y’all thinking?”
Day began to refasten his pants, not able to meet Syn’s eyes. God had his face in the corner of the stall door as if he was in time out.
“We’re in there waiting for you guys and y’all are in here trying to get in a quick fuck?” Syn said, coming in and letting the door close behind him. He scratched his forehead with one hand, as if he were confused, and the other hand rested on his hip where his gold badge was clipped. “God, fix your fucking clothes.”
God jerked back into action and began tucking his shirt inside his pants. “Sorry,” he muttered.
They were dead-ass wrong, so there was no reason to try to put up an argument. Hell. What if it had been somebody else? Day turned on the faucet and washed his hands then splashed some cold water on his face. He’d just learned a very valuable lesson today. He could not provoke his husband at work; because obviously he couldn’t control himself he thought as he glared at God.
“What?” God growled. “I’m innocent. You started it.”
“Well you weren’t supposed to finish it.”
“Excuse me?”
“I said to wait.” Day stood frowning up at God, talking through clenched teeth. He bumped their chests together and God gave him one back. “Wait meant... to wait until we got home.”
God nudged him with his forehead against his temple. “Oh. I was confused while you were saying wait and pulling down your fucking pants at the same time.”
Day narrowed his eyes. “Real fucking funny.”
“I wasn’t laughing,” God shot back.
“Shut the hell up, both of you,” Syn barked. “I should record this and put you both on YouTube under bitches that can’t act right.”
“Fuck you, Syn. We had a small, slip up okay. We’re human, it happens.” Day adjusted his holster, noticing that Syn was still shaking his head with that chastising expression he was good at giving Ruxs and Green when they screwed up.
God stopped abruptly and caught Syn in the crook of his arm and spun him around. “Did you just call me a bitch?”
“Is that all you heard? You two are something else,” Syn scoffed.
Day slumped in exasperation. “Syn for fuck’s sake. You’re dating an ex porn-star. Didn’t Vikki catch you and Furi fucking in the bathroom at her housewarming last month?”
Syn’s stern face turned red. “It’s not the same thing. I wasn’t at work.”
“It’s usually the homeowner that gets to christen the house... not the guest. So, will you get off your damn cross already. God needs the wood to rebuild his own.” Day walked by, shoving God in his shoulder. “Since he’s so damn innocent.”
“Assholes,” Syn muttered then went to take a piss in the urinal. “Steele just came back from talking with his uncle in DC. It looks like Rasmus Steele is throwing in his hat for the senate run.”
