“How was your day?” I asked on a huff as Allegra scraped her teeth over my nipple. Her hands roamed my body, greedy, wanting.

“Fine. Painting sold. All good. Horny.”

Chuckling, I helped her unzip my jeans. Then she impatiently wiggled out of her underwear and then tugged me toward the bed.

“Can I get undressed properly first?” I laughed as she yanked my jeans and boxers down just enough to free my cock.

“Nope. Urgent business to attend to.” She tugged me down. I braced over her with one hand and guided between her legs as she pulled the skirt of her dress up and out of the way.

Fuck. A guttural groan sounded from my chest as I pushed into her with ease. She was soaked. Allegra moaned, clutching at my arse to pull me deeper.

“I’ve got you, baby,” I promised.

“I’m going to come,” she whispered. “This … this is ridiculous. Too soon, too soon!”

I stifled a laugh at her panicked cries. “Just come. I’ll make you come as many times as you want. Just be loud,” I demanded. “You know I like you when you’re loud, baby.”

And we had to be quiet so often now.

In answer, on my next thrust, her pussy clenched around me in tight ripples as she came and my wife cried out my name so loudly, I followed her into climax.

“We’re not done,” I said once my shuddering had stopped. “Again. This time naked.”

“On my knees.”

“Always full of good suggestions, baby.” I smacked what I could of her rump and pulled out to sit up and noticed the mud on my hands. “Let me wash my hands first.”

“Okay.” Allegra lay sprawled on the bed, so fucking hot as she slid her hand between her legs. I could feel my balls tightening again. “Come back quickly or I’ll come without you.”

“You’ll wait for your husband,” I told her sternly. “Hand off what’s mine.”

She chuckled throatily but obediently removed her hand. “I love you, you bossy Highlander.”

I threw her a cocky grin over my shoulder. “Not as much as this bossy Highlander loves you.”

LEWIS

The cry of our baby was like an instant injection of adrenaline. Both Callie and I jolted awake, eyes blinking against the dim light. “I’ll get him,” we said in unison.

“No, sleep.” Callie none-too-gently shoved me down. “You went last time.”

“Sure?”

She grunted at me and stumbled upward.

Our son’s wailing was joined by our daughter’s.

I groaned and threw my legs off the bed first. “I’ll get her.”

We shuffled out of our bedroom and down the hall. Callie slipped into the nursery to see to our son Xander while I crept into the bedroom opposite to soothe Harley. Because our son and daughter were so close in age, we’d liked the thought of them sharing the nursery. But Harley was just starting to fall into a good routine when Xander’s constant waking throughout the night woke her too.

We’d fixed up the other bedroom and for the most part, it worked. But there were still some nights Xander’s wailing was so loud, it woke his big sister.

Harley stood in her cot, clutching her favorite teddy her uncle Fyfe had given her, her eyes filled with tears. “Dada!” she cried harder at the sight of me, hiccupping. No matter how exhausted I was, it still hurt like hell to see my baby cry.

“It’s all right, mo leanabh. Daddy’s here.” My voice was hoarse with lack of sleep as I lifted Harley out of the cot and into my arms. Noting her dummy had fallen out, I did a quick search and found it on the floor. Harley wriggled and fussed in my arms as I carried her into the bathroom to wash the dummy. Then I offered it to her and she cutely opened her mouth, sucking on it. Sleepily, she rubbed at her eyes and I carried her back into her room.

I could hear Callie soothing Xander, singing softly to him and probably bouncing him because it was the only thing that seemed to help him settle. Easing into Harley’s rocking chair, I felt my daughter’s warm weight melt into me as she snuggled against my chest, sucking on her pacifier.

I rubbed her back, my eyelids fluttering, fighting, as Harley tried to fall back asleep. “That’s right, mo leanabh. Back to sleep. Let Dada sleep.” I rubbed my own eyes with my free hand and yawned. “Dada would like to sleep for five years.”

In fact, Dada must have fallen asleep because the next thing I knew, I was being shaken awake by my exhausted-looking wife. Callie eased Harley gently out of my arms and carried her over to the cot. Thankfully, she didn’t wake up.

Callie turned to me, a finger to her lips.

I nodded and slowly got up. The two of us crept from the room and down the hallway like we were burgling our own home.
