“W-what… what should I call you?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.
Gamma’s lips curved into a smile that was both reassuring and stern. His deep, resonant voice sent made me feel a little faint as he replied, “You may call me ‘sir,’ Tessara.”
The simple command seemed to ignite something within me. I felt a rush of dizziness, the opulent lobby of the embassy seeming to spin around me. Instinctively, I lowered my gaze, unable to meet the intensity in Gamma’s eyes any longer.
“Yes, sir,” I murmured, the words falling from my lips with a surprising naturalness.
“Oh, how prettily she says it,” Sala exclaimed, her voice warm with approval.
Alpha’s deep chuckle rumbled through the air. “Indeed,” he agreed. “She has a natural talent for submission, it seems.”
Their words only served to deepen my blush. My nipples tightened into stiff nubs, a physical betrayal of my body’s response to their praise.
I kept my eyes fixed on the glowing floor, watching as it rippled and shifted beneath my feet. Beneath the embarrassment and uncertainty, I felt a strange and paradoxically distressing sense of… rightness. As if some part of me had been waiting for this moment, for someone to claim me in this way. The thought both thrilled and terrified me.
My mind whirled as I tried to make sense of my conflicting emotions. How could I feel this way? After everything I had endured at the hands of the Vionian crew, the degradation and abuse I had suffered, how could I possibly find joy in submitting to anyone ever again?
Yet as I stood there, naked and blushing before Gamma, I couldn’t deny the thrill that ran through me at his commanding presence. It was nothing like the cruel domination I had experienced on the Conqueror of Bresla. There, submission had been forced upon me, a brutal subjugation that left me feeling hollow and broken. But this… this felt different.
I thought back to the leering faces of the Vionian officers, their rough hands and crueler words. The way they had used me without care or consideration, taking their pleasure from my body as if I were nothing more than an object. The memory made me shudder, a chill running down my spine despite the warmth of the embassy.
But Gamma… even in the short time I had known him, I sensed something altogether different in his dominance. There was a strength there, yes, but also a gentleness. A promise of protection rather than a threat of harm. His eyes held wisdom and kindness alongside their intensity, hinting at depths I longed to explore.
I found myself captivated by the sheer alienness of him, somehow even more than I had been by Alpha. His blue skin, so unlike anything I had seen before with the exception of the captain, glowed subtly with the same sort of light that I still couldn’t describe. The breadth of his shoulders, the powerful lines of his body, spoke of a strength that both intimidated and attracted me. He was a mystery, a being from beyond the stars who now held my fate in his huge blue hands.
“Tessara,” Gamma’s deep voice cut through my swirling thoughts. “Look at me.”
The command was gentle but firm, brooking no argument. I hesitated for a moment, my old fears warring with this new, strange desire to please him. Slowly, I raised my eyes to meet his gaze.
My breath caught in my throat as our eyes locked. Gamma’s intense blue eyes seemed to pierce right through me, seeing to the inmost reaches of my being. I felt bare, opened in a way that had nothing to do with my limbs’ nudity, as if he could read every thought and emotion flitting through my mind.
But what I saw in his eyes made my heart race with a mixture of excitement and awe. There was kindness there, a warmth that seemed to envelop me like a comforting embrace. Yet alongside it burned a fierce intensity, an unshakeable authority that made me want to sink to my knees before him.
I saw in that gaze a promise—of protection, of guidance, of pleasures I had never dared to imagine. But also a challenge, a demand for my absolute trust and obedience. It was terrifying and exhilarating all at once, like standing on the edge of a precipice and contemplating the fall.
“I will do my best to take care of you, Tessara,” Gamma said, his deep voice resonating through me. “You are precious to me already.”
His words made my head spin. I felt faint, overwhelmed by the intensity of his gaze and the weight of his declaration. “Thank you, sir,” I managed to whisper, my voice trembling.
Alpha’s commanding tone cut through the charged atmosphere. “We should proceed to the residence upstairs,” he suggested. “Tessara can have her medical exam there.”
CHAPTER 17
Tessara
As if in a daze, I followed the others to an ornate elevator tucked away in an alcove. The doors slid open silently, revealing an interior that took my breath away. The walls seemed to be made of living crystal, suffused with that inner light I had already come to associate with Magisteria, shifting through a rainbow of colors. As we stepped inside, I gasped softly as the floor beneath my feet became transparent, giving the illusion that we were standing on air.
