He pushed his head inside me and sank, his massive weight on top of me, his body entering mine and claiming it as his own. He gave the sexiest moan when he was sheathed, his lips just above mine.

My fingers moved into the hair at the back of his neck and felt the short strands. My thighs squeezed his hips because I wanted him to stay buried between my legs forever. This was the closest to heaven I’d ever been—with this man.

He rocked into me slowly, one hand sliding into my hair and getting a strong grip. He stared at my lips then my eyes, the dark possessiveness in his gaze. The stare remained through his thrusts, through the pleasure that made us both release unexpected gasps for air. Then he dipped his head and kissed me, pressing our hot lips together as our bodies continued their dance.

I was stuffed with his length, barely able to contain all his manliness, and I wanted it to stay that way. I wanted the pleasure and the pain. I wanted the aches and the moans. I wanted the light and the dark as long as this man was the one to give it to me. “Theo…” I spoke into his mouth as we kissed, as he thrust inside me nice and slow. I waited for him to give me all of himself without realizing that I hadn’t given him all of me either. But now I did, my heart on my sleeve, my desperation in the cut of my nails. How could I have left a marriage and fallen so head over heels for someone else so quickly? Maybe it was because everything with Bolton had been a lie. Or maybe it was because my soul was desperate for Theo’s the second we met. Maybe Theo was the man I was destined to be with—and Bolton was just a horrible detour to get there.

“You’re going to make me come.” My hand reached down to his ass cheek, and I felt the slab of muscle as I pulled him into me, wincing every time his dick hit my cervix. But I was so wet for him, my pussy already contracting in anticipation of the volcano of pleasure about to erupt.

His cock hardened inside me, and he released the sexiest moan against my mouth. He rarely showed his emotions, rarely displayed them with an expression or a tone. But he showed me his vulnerability in moments like these, and it was so sexy.

I felt my body grip him with the strength of a vise, and I convulsed against him, hips thrusting on their own, tears springing from my eyes. Being half asleep made it better, made it more of a dream.

He thrust into me hard as he finished, no longer handling me with the gentleness he showed before. It was deep and aggressive, his face flushing red. Then he filled me with a moan, his ass tightening under my grip, his dick dumping all of his desire inside me. He barely finished before he rolled over onto his back with his arm tucked under his head.

I’d slept all night, so I was ready to start my day, but now that Theo was there, I didn’t want to go. I knew he needed to sleep after being up all night and he would probably be in bed until the afternoon, but I decided to stay anyway.

Because there was nowhere else I’d rather be.

When the driver picked me up, Scarlett was already in the back seat. “Ready to go shopping?”

Theo had told me she was coming by, but he didn’t say why. “Shopping?”

“Yeah. I need a couple of new things because the kids have pretty much destroyed all my shit.” She smirked as she said that, like it wasn’t really that much of an annoyance. “I figured you needed some stuff too…since your house burned down.”

Theo’s butler had supplied a couple things for me because I hadn’t been out of the house much. There were two big guys in the front of the vehicle, so I assumed they were our security for the day.

“And I assumed we would get dinner afterward. And a couple drinks.”

“Shopping, food, and alcohol.” I climbed into the back of the SUV and shut the door. “I’m in.”

“Yes, bitch. Let’s do it.”

The guys took us to a couple of spots, including the mall, and Scarlett and I walked around and did some shopping. She grabbed a couple blouses and some new heels. Now that spring was here and summer was around the corner, I grabbed some sundresses and heels to wear out and about. It’d been a long and cold winter, and I was excited to move on from the season…and the memories.

Scarlett stopped at the lingerie store. “If I don’t get Axel something, he’ll throw a tantrum.”
