Wyatt smiled. “I can see why. You’re a lucky man.” He slapped Tarson on the shoulder. “Daisy seems like the sweetest Little girl. I hate that she’s had not one, but two scares in her store. I’m keeping a closer eye on that strip mall, as are the rest of the officers I work with.”

Tarson glanced at Wyatt. “Thank you. I appreciate it.”

Wyatt looked around. “Where is she? Did she come with you tonight?”

Tarson nodded. “Yep. She’s in the daycare. It’s a separate area inside the club where Littles can hang out with other Littles in a safe environment.”

Wyatt grinned. “I love that.”

Tarson nodded over his shoulder. “Come on. I’ll show you the daycare area.” Tarson certainly didn’t mind playing tour guide for the potential new member. Plus, he would get to check on Daisy without hovering.

Daisy was having a painting party tonight. She’d gathered a few other Littles to help her sketch and paint flowers which she intended to use as samples when they painted the actual room in his house.

Sure enough, Tarson couldn’t keep the grin off his face as he spotted Daisy with three of her friends—Riley, Lark, and Ellie.

“They look like they’re having fun,” Wyatt commented.

Tarson nodded. He knew he had a goofy grin on his face, but he didn’t care. He was head over heels for his Baby girl. Watching her leaning over a large piece of paper, carefully painting inside the lines of a flower he was certain she’d sketched, made his heart happy. She even had her tongue sticking out to one side in concentration.

“Hey, I recognize all those other women from Little Cakes. I met them a few times while dealing with those young thugs.” He took a step closer. “Uh, isn’t that Lark Adams?”

“Yes. She’s Ellie’s best friend.”

“I didn’t know she was Little.” Wyatt took a few steps closer, his brows raised as he glanced at Tarson.

“I don’t know. She’s a guest like you. She’s never been here before. Ellie conned her into helping with the flower painting.”

“Hmmm.” Wyatt shifted his gaze back to the girls.

Tarson wondered if Wyatt had a thing for Lark. He sure seemed interested. If it were possible to actually see light bulbs lighting up over a person’s head, Tarson was pretty sure he would be seeing them now over Wyatt.

“Did you know Officer Wyatt was at Blaze earlier tonight, Daddy?” Daisy asked as soon as Tarson started the engine and put his car in drive.

“Yep. I invited him to come on a visitor’s pass.” Tarson set his hand on Daisy’s bare thigh as he pulled out of the parking lot.

Daisy giggled. “I think he has a thing for Lark.”

Tarson chuckled. “You do, do you? What makes you say that?” He was curious to find out how his Baby girl came to that conclusion. Tarson had left Wyatt to his own defenses after giving him a tour. After all, Tarson had been there to work tonight.

“Well, for one thing, Ellie said so. She was teasing Lark. Riley agreed. They said they thought Wyatt showed particular interest in Lark when he came into Little Cakes after those thugs were apprehended.”

Tarson gave her thigh a squeeze. “Don’t let your imagination get carried away, Baby girl,” he warned. “You’re speculating. Besides, just because Lark agreed to paint with you tonight doesn’t mean she’s Little.”

Daisy sighed, her shoulders dropping. “True. And we know Wyatt is a Daddy because he told us so.”

When Tarson came to a stop light, he turned to face Daisy and gave her a stern look. “No matchmaking. You let the two of them figure things out for themselves, understood?”

Daisy reached up and twirled a lock of her blonde hair, not meeting his gaze.

“Daisy…” he warned.

She hmphed. “Daddy, you’re no fun. Ellie and Riley and I were going to come up with ways to make sure the two of them run into each other.”

“Baby girl, wipe that idea from your mind. I’m certain if Garrett knew his Little was playing matchmaker, he would spank her bottom. And when we get home, that’s what I’m going to do to you to make sure I’ve made my point.” He lifted a brow.

Daisy pushed out her bottom lip and pouted, crossing her arms dramatically. “I didn’t do anything wrong,” she muttered.

“You thought about it though. I can see the wheels turning in your head, Baby girl.” He started driving again when the light turned green.

Other than a few swats now and then, Tarson had yet to give Daisy a full spanking. Tonight was a good night to make sure she knew that Daddy was serious. No meddling.

Daisy was silent most of the rest of the way home, and she remained that way as he helped her out of the car and led her into the house.

It was late, but he knew she hadn’t eaten anything for several hours, so he paused in the kitchen. “How about some milk before bed?”
