“I think he’s finally claimed the event planner,” she adds.
“Oh…that explains her need to leave earlier.” I knew he has been growly about her working for me. I’m starting to wonder if it’s just jealousy. Either way, as long as they do their jobs, I’m all good. “Hmmm…I’m happy for them.”
“I’ll walk you out.” I turn back to Aurora and say, “I’ll be right back. Stay in here until I come to get you.” I lean in and steal a kiss and then lead my sister out of my office, locking the door behind me.
