A butler is on the side of the wet bar, holding a silver tray with two glasses of champagne. “This is so pretty.” Her eyes light up as she looks around the room. “And the flowers…” She points at all the vases of white flowers all around the room. “It’s magical.”

I walk up to her, pulling her into my arms. Her hand drops her purse to the floor as she places her palms on my chest. “Are you happy?” I ask her the loaded question. It’s a question that is heavier than the will-you-marry-me question, and that one was huge.

She smirks, looking down at her hands, then she looks up at me, and her face fills with the biggest smile I’ve ever seen. Over the years, I’ve seen her smile many times, in person and on her Instagram. It’s as if her smile is engrained in my brain, but this smile right here is a new one. One I’ve never seen before. One that makes the corner of her eyes crinkle. Her eyes are almost a crystal blue, with shades of yellow in them, and the smile has filled her whole face. It's a smile I’m going to do everything in my power to see every single day of my life. “I’ve never been happier.”

My head turns to the side, and I can feel my head pounding as my eyes try to open, but they feel like they weigh over a hundred pounds. I open my mouth and then close it, trying to get some saliva so I can swallow, but it feels like I’m in the desert on the hottest day of the year, and someone threw sand in my mouth. The moan escapes me when I finally do crack them open a bit, the light from the sun almost blinds me, making me close my eyes again.

I try to get up, and the minute I lift my head, my body falls back down into the mattress like a dead weight. “I’m never drinking again,” I mumble the words, taking a deep inhale before trying it again. But this time, as soon as I sit up in bed, I open my eyes and immediately go down. It isn’t even a fight at this point. I also do it because my head spins, and then the light from the sun feels like it’s burning my brain. “Ugh.” I turn my head to the side and open them slowly, putting one hand over my face.

I look over at the side of the bed and see Nash’s naked back, his head turned away from me. My eyes go wide when I see the sheet at the base of his back but only on one side. One leg is out of the cover and cocked up, along with one beautiful perfect ass cheek. His smooth, tanned back makes my mouth water. “Fuck, fuck, fuck,” I groan before turning my head to the other side of the room.

My eyes scan the room and see the dress I wore last night tossed on the floor with one of my shoes near it. I’m not sure where the other one is. I think I remember Nash taking one off and tossing it over one shoulder before he took the other one off and tossed it over the other one before his mouth devoured my pussy, making me forget everything I was saying at the time. I swear I get wet just thinking about it. I attempt to sit up again. This time, the sheet falls off me, leaving me naked. I quickly reach for it again, bringing it up to my chest to cover myself even though I think I saw a hickey near my nipple. I look over at the side table to see if there is a water bottle. I see two glasses of champagne, both of them empty, and right near them are two bottles of water. I reach over, grabbing one and twisting open the blue top, tossing it to the side and downing the bottle of water. My eyes go to the side of my dress where I see a veil and a bouquet of white roses and baby’s breath with a white-and-blue ribbon.

I hear my own voice in my head. “I want white roses and some greenery,” I told the woman doing the bouquet live in our hotel suite. “And I’d like to have a blue-and-white ribbon,” I said excitedly before I looked over at Nash, who was sitting down at the table picking out my wedding band.

I shake my head and start to laugh. “That didn’t happen.” I lift my left hand up and almost drop the bottle of water as I stare at my left finger. The big square diamond in the middle with diamonds all around the band. The center diamond is massive, but the wedding band is even more massive. It’s an eternity band, but each diamond is oval. The sun shines on it, and the reflection just sparkles on the ceiling. “This can’t be real.” I put my hand in a fist and bring it to my face. “This is fake.” I bring it even closer. “This can’t be,” I say, looking over at Nash. “Who buys real diamonds in a hotel room?” I chuckle to myself.
