She giggles too.
“Well, we don’t have fraternities at my community college, but I’ve been to a few at some other schools. And you’re right. They only drink out of plastic cups at those things.”
I smirk.
“Sometimes, I think it’s a stretch for them to have cups of any type. They’d prefer for guests to drink straight from the keg.”
Faith giggles as I sit next to her, angling myself to get a full view of her gorgeous body.
“You’re right,” she concedes. “Upside down keggers especially, where girls’ shirts fall to their waists.”
“Especially that,” I growl. “Those are my favorite.”
She giggles again. Clearly, we’ve dived head-first into hot-and-heavy talk, but I like it. Faith is able to roll with the conversation without going crazy.
“Where are my manners?” I growl. “I’m Hunter Stockton. And you are the beautiful Faith …?”
“Randall,” she finishes. “Of Medina, Minnesota. Where are you from?”
I smile ruefully.
“Kind of everywhere, come to think of it. My parents moved around a lot, so I never put down roots. But thanks for coming over. There must be guys hitting on you non-stop at Harry’s, so I appreciate that you took a chance on me.”
She smiles, and the curve of her lips makes my cock harden.
“No problem,” she murmurs. “After your tip, I had to come and see who my big spender was. But you just moved here?” she continues. “What brings you to Medina?”
I take a deep breath. “I’m a professional skier. I’ve heard that the slopes around here are pretty good and figured I’d try them out myself.”
She tilts her head at me.
“That’s true, but it’s summer right now, so how are you going to ski?”
I nod.
“You’re right, but a professional athlete never rests. I’ve got to do a bunch of dry land workouts, and you know technology these days. I have a virtual reality ski program that’s almost like the real thing.”
She looks around the living room in confusion.
“Where is it?”
I laugh lightly.
“It’s still packed up, but there isn’t much to see. You strap on a pair of goggles and then step into a pair of skis on slings. Then, it’s almost like going down a hill in real-life, except of course, there’s no hill. It almost feels like it though, with the wind ruffling your hair and the stretch in your muscles.”
She nods, awed.
“Wow, that sounds amazing.”
“It is amazing,” I reply. “There are a lot of things you can do with the VR program too. Skiing isn’t the only activity.”
She nods.
“I can imagine. I’ve heard of VR golf as well as VR tennis. It must be incredible.”
I nod. I don’t add that one of the things I love most about the VR machine are the virtual sex programs, but there’s no need to bring that up now. That would be too crude for a sweet young thing like Faith.
“So how about you?” I ask. “How long have you been working at the diner?”
Faith smiles. “Just a couple of years now. It started as a part-time job when I was in high school, but I turned full time when I graduated.”
“You light up when you talk about Harry’s.”
She nods happily.
“I know it’s silly, but I genuinely love being a waitress. Most people hate service jobs, but I like my customers and my co-workers too. Plus, the food is really delicious. I know you got breakfast last time, but you absolutely have to try the rosemary fries. They’re the best I’ve ever had.”
I nod. Excellent, a girl who likes to eat. I love a woman who savors her food.
“I’ll take you up on that sometime.”
But then Faith cocks her head.
“Oh wait, I’m sorry. I totally forgot that you’re an athlete. You probably don’t eat a lot of deep-fried foods, so fries must be taboo.”
I chuckle. “Even athletes get cheat days, and I take quite a few of them, especially during the off-season. As long as I keep up with my workouts, it’s fine. I’d probably go nuts if I wasn’t allowed to eat fries every once in a while, anyways. A man needs his release.”
She smiles prettily, eyes sparkling.
“Phew, that’s good to hear because honestly, I can’t stand health nut Nazis. I mean, I love veggies, don’t get me wrong, but I also love a good, juicy burger and fries. After all, look at me. There is definitely junk in the trunk, and you don’t get this kind of booty if all you’re eating is vegetables.”
My gaze trails those lush assets appreciatively, lingering on the space between her breasts.
“You are very beautiful,” I growl. “And this dress? It’s driving me fucking crazy.”
“Good,” is all she says. She’d probably say more, but I can’t resist anymore and lunge forward to capture Faith’s lips with mine. The curvy girl moans softly against my lips before arching her spine to press us together, and I take that as permission to maneuver her back on the couch.
