“So damn gorgeous…when you come for me.” Arik let go of Kellus’s dick and gripped his thighs, pushing them all the way back, and continued thrusting erratically into him, a low groan filled the room as Arik’s body tensed, then went completely rigid, and the cock in his ass jerked and pulsed, sending another set of tremors rushing through his body.

“Damn!” Arik’s full weight settled on top of him as he struggled to catch his breath. He ran his fingertips up and down the damp skin of Arik’s back, enjoying the moment, taking it all in—the weight on his chest, the heady, musky smell of sex, every little twitch of Arik’s muscles. It had been so long since he’d had another man’s flesh pressed against his, and he missed sharing this type of intimacy with someone. Warm puffs of air tickled his neck and the rapid rhythm of Arik’s heartbeat thumped in time with his as they lay there holding each other. Neither man spoke, only the soft sound of their breathing filled the otherwise silent room.

Arik made the first move by pressing a kiss to his neck before easing out of him and rolling to his back. The air immediately cooled the sweat and come on his chest and stomach, but he didn’t care. He was happy, completely sated, and relaxed as hell.

Just as he closed his eyes, the bed moved and Arik crawled off the mattress. Kellus didn’t bother to open his eyes. He was still dazed from their lovemaking, but he could hear the cabinets opening and the sound of the faucet being turned on. He must have fallen asleep, because the next thing he knew Arik was lying beside him, wiping the drying come from his stomach and chest with a warm cloth.

“Hey, sleepyhead, roll on your side for me.” Arik’s deep voice roused him from his tranquil, joyful state.

“I don’t think I have the energy. You wore me out,” he half mumbled, half chuckled. Truthfully, he was so blissed out that he didn’t want to move. After a second or two, he made the attempt and rolled to his side.

“Jesus,” he gasped, his eyes popping open and his butt muscle clenching involuntarily when the cool wet rag unexpectedly swiped between his ass cheeks.

“Sorry.” Arik chuckled. “Didn’t want you sleeping with your ass all lubed up, even though it’d be easier to take advantage of you in the middle of the night.”

Did Arik want him to stay? Insecurity kept pushing its way in, and his mind was racing again. This was another first for him. What was the proper etiquette in a situation like this? He didn’t know. He really should go. In the long run it would be better if he did. Less complicated that way. As he made the move to sit up, he glanced over at Arik.

“I should probably leave.” Just as the words left his mouth, he realized he’d left his van across town and ridden with Arik. He wasn’t even sure his vehicle had been brought back yet. He didn’t want to make this any more awkward by asking about his van.

Arik’s hand caressed his shoulder, stopping him from standing. “Don’t go. Please, stay with me tonight.”

His attraction to Arik was off the charts, and he was developing feelings he couldn’t afford to risk. He should keep this casual, if that was even possible, and spending the night with Arik would only make it harder when whatever this was between them ended. Self-doubt waged a war inside his head and his heart. And the look on Arik’s face wasn’t helping. It only made him want to give in and agree. He really wanted to stay with Arik, and maybe he shouldn’t want that, but he did. It was just one night, and going home to an empty house didn’t hold as much appeal as spending the night in Arik’s arms. He was a big boy, and he would deal with the outcome when that time came.

Arik’s lips pressed against his shoulder, before his hand came up, moving his hair away from his face. “Please stay. I need you here. I haven’t been sleeping well, and I have a feeling you’ll change all that.”

“Am I that boring?” Kellus finally replied, searching Arik’s handsome face as he immediately barked out a laugh.

“You’re far from boring, Kel. Let’s sleep and then do this all over again.” Arik gave a waggle of his brows, tossing the towel on his nightstand as he moved to tug the duvet back. “Get under the covers. Let me hold you.”

He nodded, the decision to stay made as he adjusted his body and let Arik slide in beside him.

“Thank you.” Those two words completely caught Kellus off guard.

“Why are you thanking me?” Kellus asked, confused because he should be the one thanking Arik.
