The cashier tells me the total, ending our silent staring. I fish out some cash and pay for all the candy. Once she hands me the bulging sack, I grab Win’s hand and pull him back outside.
“Are you happy?” he complains.
I stand on my toes, kissing him with tongue. Tasting the cherry gummy bear in his mouth has me smiling. “Very much so.”
“Let’s get going then. We have to go pick up your car.”
We argued the entire way to the Cadillac dealership. Seriously. He’s buying me a car. Or, according to him, already bought it and just needs to pick it up.
“Why can’t you just drive me everywhere? I’m not even that good of a driver and will probably wreck it.”
“Stop whining.” He flashes me an evil smirk. “Don’t worry, little girl, it’ll be the safest vehicle for you.”
He pulls up next to a souped-up black Cadillac Escalade. I’m thankful it’s not anything ridiculous like a Lamborghini or a Bugatti.
“Let’s test it out,” he says once he turns off his car.
I clamber out and follow him over to the massive beast of an SUV. It seems bigger than a normal Escalade. A sales guy greets Win and tosses him the keys. I’m forced into the driver’s side after dumping my bags into the backseat, and Winston climbs into the passenger side.
“This thing is huge,” I complain. “I’ll probably sideswipe every car I pass.”
He relaxes in his seat, unperturbed by my threats. “It’s an armored vehicle. It’ll survive.”
“What?”
“To keep you safe.”
“An armored vehicle like those trucks that carry money?”
He scoffs. “Don’t be silly. This is a lot more expensive than one of those. More like the type of armored vehicle that transports the president.”
“Winston,” I groan. “Why are you so over the top?”
“It’s my money. I can spend it however I want.”
I try not to melt at the fact he bought me an armored vehicle to keep me safe. I’d assume his intentions were honorable except he has a devilish glint in his blue eyes.
“Where to?” I ask, huffing.
“By my place so you can change into something more appropriate.” His grin turns wolfish when my cheeks burn hot. “And then we’ll have a bite to eat.”
“What then?”
“We’ll set off to check off another item on my list.”
“Why do I feel like I’m about to be an accomplice in a crime?”
His deep, throaty, and super evil laugh doesn’t help calm my fears. “No, Cinderelliott, you have that quite backwards. Today, I’m your accomplice.”
I shouldn’t trust the devil in a three-piece suit.
Unfortunately, I do.
“Better be worth it.” I shoot him a narrowed glare.
“Oh, it will be. You’ll see.”

Winston
Her mouth drives me wild.
The things it can do. The words that spill out. The taunting smiles.
I’ve never had a woman who edges me toward the cliff of insanity like Ash Elliott does. At one time, I’d have balked at seeing a woman like her. Now, I can’t imagine seeing anyone but her. The thought is alarming, and frankly, embarrassing.
She’s. My. Plaything.
Keep telling yourself that, asshole.
Ignoring my inner berating that sounds like it might be in Perry’s voice, I tear my gaze from her mouth where she’d been licking her lips after a bite of the chocolate cheesecake she’s been eating. Earlier, we went by my place so she could change and play with her loud-ass bird. Then, I took her to one of my favorite restaurants in town. Even when she’s not embarrassing herself for my pleasure, I still enjoy her company.
Fucking chump.
“You’re brooding,” Ash says, her hazel eyes boring into me. “You okay?”
“I’m perfectly fine,” I lie, not meeting her gaze. “Are you going to make love to that cheesecake all night or are we going to leave already?”
The brat takes an exaggerated bite of her dessert, moaning loudly for all to hear. My dick perks up, enjoying the hell out of her husky sound of pleasure.
“Want to earn fifty grand?”
She nearly chokes on her cheesecake. “Fifty?”
“Yes or no, little girl?”
“Yes,” she says without hesitation. “What sort of fucked-up stuff are you thinking?”
I admire her pretty, plump lips for a beat. “I grabbed this from home. I want you to put it in.” Pulling her jeweled butt plug from my pocket, I set it down on the table with a loud thunk.
Her eyes widen, and she snatches it off the table. “Like right here? I can’t do that here!”
A dark chuckle escapes me. “Of course not, dirty girl. Go to the bathroom and put it in. Send me a picture once it’s done.”
“That’s it?”
“I’m not done,” I say, my gaze dragging down her creamy throat to her cleavage. “While you’re gone, I’ll move to one of those booths at the bar. Come back and sit on my lap.”
“Oh god,” she groans, her eyes wide with apprehension. “And then?”
Smart girl.
“If you fuck me without drawing attention to us, you’ll get your money.”
