“He’s the watchman. I provide his intel.” Brian signed and the table went silent, their eyes wide. Dana had no reaction. He was used to Brian’s shock factor. A big man like him, signing with those huge hands. Most were probably surprised how intelligent he looked when he signed, how sexy the quiet power made him.

Dana translated what Brian said. He used words that Dana was used to, that he’d seen Brian use a million times.

“I didn’t even realize you were deaf. You read lips well.” The lady with the short, black pixie cut gave Brian a considerate smile.

“He’s not deaf, he’s mute,” Dana answered like always.

“A vow of silence?” Sascha quirked his brows.

“Not a voluntary one.”

“This visit has been nice, but I’m sure you have better things to do than sit here with us.” Jessica finally had the audacity to speak, her sharp tone clipped, cutting through the pleasant ambiance like glass.

“Why in the world are you being so rude, Jessica?” Pixie Cut asked and Sascha was quick to second that.

While they bickered in that arrogant way rich people did, with their heads high in the air and a demeaning superiority in their tone, Dana gave Brian the go ahead to make his move. It was done discreetly, but Dana saw when Brian slid his hand to Sascha’s leg under the table and gestured for him to get up with him. And the man did just that, completely ignoring everyone else. His tight little body trailing behind Brian like an eager puppy. Dana was just glad he wasn’t the one being pimped out for information this time.

The conversation was a little forced after Brian and Sascha left, as Jessica continued to shoot daggers at not only him but her coworkers, too. He’d made her uncomfortable enough. After Dana finished his beer, he turned to the women. “It was nice meeting you, ladies. Please enjoy the rest of your night. I think I’ve infringed upon your evening long enough.”

A couple of the ladies looked like they didn’t want him to go, but he still stood, thanking them for the company. Jessica wasn’t looking at him, instead staring straight ahead at nothing. Her stuck-up man had removed his arm from around her and was gritting on Dana like he wanted a go at him. He wished he would.

“Jessica, glad you made it back from your trip safely. I wish you well, sweetheart. Take care.” Nice knowing ya. Dana walked away, not bothering to look back. He didn’t need to. His future was in front of him.

Ford

Watching Dana bust his cheating girlfriend wasn’t really something Ford wanted to witness, but he couldn’t take his eyes away. It felt like Ford hadn’t breathed until he saw Dana get up and walk away from her, his beautiful brown eyes and sexy smile for no one other than him. When Dana got to him, Ford moved them back to their secluded corner. He made sure they weren’t attracting any negative attention as he pulled Dana deeper into darkness.

“Looks like that was relatively painless,” Ford mumbled, not taking his eyes off Dana.

“It was… for me, anyway. She looked mortified.” Dana shrugged uncaringly.

“You good?”

Dana gripped the edges of Ford’s coat and pulled him against him. “What I am… is single.”

“We’ll see about that,” Ford growled. “But for now, stay focused. Brian has hot-pants outside, behind the building. Let’s go.”

Dana and Ford slipped out the side door and made their way around the back of the building. Ford watched behind them to make sure they weren’t being followed. He’d mentioned the Grossmans’ name to one of the security guards and scared him off. Dana had freaked out the bartender, so it was best to hurry and get what they needed and disappear. Ford turned the corner and made his way down the back street. He saw his brother with his head dipped down low, his big arms around the smaller man’s waist, holding him close to him. The small man had his head tilted back while his brother made him moan and writhe on his big thigh, which was wedged between his legs.

Ford stopped and leaned against the wall, Dana doing the same, both of them shaking their head at Brian’s smoothness. “How much longer?”

“If Sascha has war secrets, I think he’d tell Brian right now. Come on, let’s go.” Dana took the lead and walked up on Brian and Sascha.

“Sorry to interrupt.” Dana coughed to hide his grin, as Sascha’s eyes rolled back to the front. He looked stoned.

Brian’s chest vibrated with his hushed groan while he thrust his pelvis harder against his willing partner.

Ford huffed. “Do you mind, Brian?”

“Yes. A lot.”

Ford ignored his brother. He could get the guy’s number if he wanted to continue this, but they were on the clock. Brian tilted Sascha’s head up to look at him, and if a human being could be liquefied, then Sascha would’ve been a puddle at Brian’s feet. Brian kissed and touched the short man for a few more seconds before he began to sign, never taking his eyes off Sascha, while his brother interpreted for him.
