“Hello, little sea monster.” He dipped down and kissed me briefly. Then he leaned over and kissed Ty too. “Hello, sweetheart.”

I grinned. That was fucking cute. Even more so when Ty’s own smile was a tad bashful, ’cause that didn’t seem like him. He was quick to recover, but he’d clearly been caught off guard by the public display.

“Hey,” was Ty’s clever response.

Standing side by side, they sure got a laugh from me when I noticed they were dressed exactly the same. Jeans the same shade, black tees that fit their bodies perfectly, and add that they were equally tall and shared similar body frames.

“What’s so funny?” Walker asked me.

“Nothin’.” I pinched my lips together.

Ty shook his head, mildly amused, and addressed Master. “You came over in the nick of time. If Macklin runs his restaurant into the ground, he might have a future as a criminal. He thinks I should kidnap Lane.”

I flicked my gaze to Master and—triumph! He didn’t automatically shut down the idea. He mulled things over with an open huh expression, which just made me love him even more.

“Are you fuckin’ kiddin’ me?” Ty laughed.

“Well now, hold on just a minute,” Walker cautioned, chuckling. “Macklin might be onto somethin’ here.”

Oh wow. Ty drew out Walker’s accent more. That was an interesting development.

“It doesn’t have to be all dramatic,” Master pointed out. “I’m sure he doesn’t mean you’re supposed to catch Lane in an alley and push him into a van.”

“That’s sort of what I said!” I exclaimed. “It would be like a fun thing—like, come up with a lie, ask him to go with you on some snake business, and then you just keep driving so you can hash things out.”

Master snapped his fingers and pointed at me, a silent exactly.

“My God, there’re two of you.” Ty rubbed his temples.

Master grinned and winked at me. “Double fun.”

I smiled like an idiot.

“Double trouble,” Ty argued.

“Same thing,” Walker and I said at once.

Oh, my heart was so fucking happy right now.

We had to make this work.

“Are you barefoot?” Ty asked next, and he was looking down at Master’s feet. “Who are you? Where’re the suits?”

I smirked at him. “You have much to learn about Walker, honey. Don’t forget he was there on the island with us. He ain’t all polish and Colgate teeth.”

“Evidently.” Ty smiled lazily, as if seeing Walker in a new light.

Yeah, they were gonna look adorable together, playing with engineer stuff and going to farmers markets.

CHAPTER 7

Ty Madison

“One gin over ice, Sir.”

“Thanks.” I handed her a ten and watched as the crowd parted a bit next to the bar. Walker and the other two Tops who were hosting the demo were ready to take the stage with their subs.

All right, this dog and pony show was gonna be interesting. I shook my head, declining the change, and brought my drink closer to the stage. The platform was about two feet high, and I stopped when nobody taller than me blocked my view.

Total power exchange, huh?

There were some strange lifestyles out there.

I took a sip of my drink as the three subs kneeled in front of their Masters. Walker and Macklin to the right, closer to where I stood, then the man from San Francisco and his wife or whatever, and lastly, on the other side, Lucian with Cam.

Lucian took care of introductions, and I remembered now the visiting Master was named Rio. His partner was Chelsea.

I found it interesting how much Walker stood out. Here we had three men who were almost equally tall, fit, handsome, certainly carried an abundance of charisma and assertiveness, and yet Walker shouldered his Master cloak in jeans and a tee. Fucking barefoot too. Whereas the other two Masters were dressed in what looked like bespoke suits. Tailored at the very least.

That fit the stereotype to me, anyway. And I’d been around long enough to know about a kink where, essentially, the Top wore clothes and the sub was naked. So I wasn’t the least surprised to see the bottoms wearing very little. Both Macklin and Cam wore boxer briefs, while the girl had on a skimpy, see-through slave dress.

Many of those around me in the audience shared their lifestyle. The high-protocol business.

Earlier when I’d had a quick beer with Walker and Macklin, I’d learned that Walker sometimes dressed up too, but that he preferred this route. Something about suits and dress codes playing too big of a role in his everyday life as it was.

“…and so we decided to split tonight’s demonstration into three parts,” Lucian was saying. “I will start us off by discussing posture and positions in a TPE dynamic. Master Rio will cover rules and rituals, and Master McKenna will talk about incorporating a high-protocol lifestyle into our vanilla lives.”

Master McKenna.

I smirked and sipped from my drink.
