“Next time, I’ll make sure we’re in the family section. Your brother wouldn’t like this at all,” Thane mumbled, going for the thermostat.
“He used to not be so strict,” Logan admitted, already so comfortable around Thane that he had no problem plopping down on the sofa, grabbing the remote.
“He’s trying to keep us together,” Luke challenged, knocking Logan in the arm as he came to his oldest brother’s defense. Thane caught the stern look Luke gave Logan as he stole the remote out of his brother’s hand. “None of us are the same as we used to be.”
“I wasn’t throwing shade. I was just sayin’,” Logan explained to Luke, defensively. Thane sensed a fight coming on and quickly inserted his two cents.
“Your brother’s crashed in there.” Thane pointed to his room without using the word bedroom. It seemed to help him justify that he’d put Levi in his bed. “We had a nice time tonight. He drank too much.”
“Levi doesn’t really drink,” Logan answered, the fight forgotten as both boys lifted their heads in his direction.
“Yeah, I figured he doesn’t drink too much.” Unsure what to do now, Thane paused then continued using his hands to talk. “So, I’m going to bed too.” Again, he hooked a thumb over his shoulder toward his room. The awkwardness of the moment increased for him. “Whatever you can find to eat, you can have.” Thane went to a cabinet where he’d stocked up on chips and junk food from his restaurant downstairs. “The TV has everything you could want. Get whatever movie you want. Stay away from the porn because I want Levi to feel comfortable in bringing you back, and I think he’d think that was bad, and I have no idea how to block adult channels, so just don’t watch. And probably don’t leave. And stay off the balcony. And go to bed at some point. And don’t do anything you’re not supposed to do.”
After he decided that last sentence covered anything he missed, he gave a thumbs-up before remembering Iris. They’d probably get a kick out of her. He looked around, judging where she’d drop down from and moved a step over. “If you want room service, or have any questions, you can call Iris, she’s the virtual assistant.” Before he ever got finished saying the sentence, she dropped down from the ceiling. Both boys went nuts with their no-ways and oh-mans. He chuckled as she smiled at him.
“Yes, sir?”
“I was just showing them how you work. I must have said your name too loudly.”
She looked around, seeing the boys and smiled. “I believe that’s a problem they’re experiencing. My calling instruction will be changing soon. Is there anything you need?”
“No, we’re good. Thank you.”
When she vanished, it was Luke who jumped off the couch and stood looking up at the ceiling. “Can they see inside here?”
Good question. Thane looked up at the camera device. He had no real idea. Luke didn’t give him a chance to respond.
“What if she drops down on top of you?”
Logan immediately shot back a quick, “She’s a hologram.” The tone totally implied dumbass, but he impressively didn’t use the actual word. Still, Luke moved out of the way.
“Can I use your laptop?” Luke asked, abruptly shifting topics.
“Sure.” Thane went for his desk, thinking about the split-second change in conversation, and handed over his laptop. “The password is password and stay out of my office programs. If you get notifications for me, leave them unopened. I’ll take care of them tomorrow.”
“Thanks,” Luke said with the biggest grin on his face. He was just so easily pleased. Thane looked over at Logan who had his phone in his hands, typing away.
“No more balcony,” Thane said again at his bedroom door, relieved they seemed to have no problem with Levi’s sleeping in his bed. They were great kids—well behaved and easy to be around. Thane shut the door to a loud snore from Levi. He chuckled as he started to undress.

Something was really very wrong. Levi lay utterly still, taking inventory of his body. It wasn’t the vile taste in his mouth or the spike of pain in his head that had apparently awakened him. No, he needed to use the bathroom. Like in a big, immediate way. Rolling from the bed, he found himself still almost fully dressed. Levi stumbled around the bed straight toward the bathroom, leaving the door open and the light off, squinting just enough to see the toilet as he hurriedly unbuttoned his pants, and shoved his underwear low, his morning wood greeting him. He leaned over the commode and held his rogue cock at an angle and waited. For as bad as he had to piss, it was taking him forever to get started. Finally. Relief swamped his body as he tried to remember what he’d done last night. The four of them had gone swimming; they’d had dinner together at one of Thane’s restaurants in the resort. Logan and Luke had gone to the movies, and he and Thane had gone to the same bar they’d gone to that first night.
