“Why did you really come here, Isaac?” I asked as I ran the tips of my fingers up and down one of his arms. He was still wearing his coat, so I couldn’t actually feel his body, but he still shivered beneath my touch just the same.

God, what would it be like when we were skin on skin?

Isaac shook his head but didn’t respond right away. When I bent to kiss him, he suddenly blurted, “I’m wearing them!”

I pulled back so I could watch him as he spoke because I was finding that what Isaac said and what he meant when he was upset were two very different things.

“I told myself not to because it would just freak you out and I don’t want that because I really want this, but you already know about them and I’m not going to pretend that you don’t, so if that’s what you want…” His words dropped off and he looked at the floor. The insecurity was painful to watch, but I needed to let him get whatever shit was driving this out or it would stay between us.

And I really, really didn’t want anything between us tonight.

“I could… I could just…” Isaac hesitated, then stepped forward. His hand slowly reached out to touch the waistband of my jeans. He pulled them away from my body just the tiniest bit, then looked up at me with uncertain eyes and whispered, “I could just make it good for you.”

Even though my body reacted almost violently to the sensation of him running his long, slim fingers down the front of my jeans, I felt sick inside as I understood what he was trying to tell me.

He was willing to get on his knees for me.

Like he had with that piece of shit Tomlinson.

Like he had with all the other men who’d seen him as a body to use in exchange for a few bucks.

Well, fuck that shit. I sent a silent apology to Newt for the swear word, then stepped closer to Isaac and used my fingers to tip his chin farther up so there was no way he could not look at me.

“Show me,” I whispered.

Isaac let out a little whimper and started to drop to his knees, but I clasped him around the back of the neck to keep him from moving. I dropped my mouth to his ear and used my free hand to skim his hip before releasing just the button on his pants. “Show me,” I repeated.

Isaac gasped as he finally got my meaning. He stayed stiff in my hold for a couple of beats, then seemed to melt into my touch as a huge breath whooshed out of his lungs. Then he was nodding.

I stepped back to put some space between us. Isaac’s shaky fingers immediately went to his pants.

“No,” I said firmly. When he looked at me, I took a few more steps back until I felt the chair just behind me. “Slowly,” I ordered as I lowered myself into it.

Isaac was frozen in place for several long moments. I didn’t breathe until he carefully shrugged off his coat. It fell to his feet, but all he did was kick it away. I noticed the shirt he was wearing had an oversized opening at the throat, so it exposed one of his shoulders. My mouth watered at the sight of his pale, creamy skin.

Isaac’s hand ran down the middle of his shirt as if to smooth it out. He fingered the hem and I could see he was still having doubts. But I remained silent as I held his gaze.

I saw the exact moment something shifted, and I wanted to thank God for whatever had finally made him realize that between the two of us, he was the one with all the power. Instead of just removing his shirt, Isaac’s palm flattened on the lower part of it and he slid his hand up, dragging the hem of the shirt up in the process and exposing the flatness of his belly.

Isaac used his free hand to hold the hem up enough so he could run his fingers over his stomach. Despite how graceful his moves were, my gut was telling me they weren’t practiced.

He wasn’t acting cool enough for that. There was still that little bit of a tremor in his fingers and a speck of doubt sprinkled in with the desire I saw in his eyes.

My cock pressed painfully against my zipper every time Isaac touched himself. When he finally snagged the end of the shirt and dragged it up and off his body, I was leaning forward in my chair so I could see him even better.

He was beautifully built.

Yes, he was slim and small, but toned too. His skin was smooth and flawless. There was a single tattoo on his left forearm, but I couldn’t tell what it was of. I made a mental note to explore it later.
