“I’m not your brother. If this shit keeps up, I’m nothing,” I growl.

“You brought drinks?”

“Yeah, I know you sorry motherfuckers have yet to put a mini fridge in this place, so I thought we’d share a beer before the party began. Suddenly, I’m not feeling so happy about this shit, though. So, I think I’ll pass. You guys have them.”

“You’re short one,” Demon says, grabbing one and handing another to Eyeball.

“Didn’t realize Lucky was joining in. He can drink the third. I’m going to go on in and play with the girls for a bit. You let me know when you’re ready to film and get it started,” I mutter.

I watch as the two idiots take a drink. With any luck, they’ll be out soon. The shit I put in there is supposed to be fast acting. Right now, I’m praying like hell that’s true. I need it to knock them out as soon as possible.

“I don’t want one. Let’s just go in and have some fun with the girls. Demon is ready to tape, right?” Lucky interjects, fucking up all my plans.

I don’t have a fucking gun. They pat down outsiders when you hit the front door of the main clubhouse at the bottom of the mountain. Until I “prove” myself, I am still an outsider. I have a feeling their ultimate plan is to use me for this to hurt Dragon more, then slit my throat. I’m not stupid. I can see what they have planned a mile away. I need to figure out how in the hell to get out of here with the girls. I wouldn’t be surprised if their intentions were to kill me right before they transport Nicole and Gabby to the clubhouse. That means my time is extremely limited and I might be under more surveillance than originally thought. I sure hope Nicole and Gabby can keep their heads. I’m going to need them to. I have a knife hidden in my boot that is slim enough to go undetected. I can use that on Lucky, but he won’t go down easily. I can already tell. I need these two bastards to keep drinking, so at least they are out. I can defeat Lucky, but these two need to be out so they don’t rush in to help or sound an alarm.

“Let me take a piss first,” I mutter, rubbing the back of my neck.

“Piss in there, let them watch. That should be fun. Hell, you could even piss on the women.” Lucky laughs like he thinks that’s the funniest thing in the world.

“Fuck that,” I huff. “Golden showers are not my thing.”

“They can be fun, if done right,” Lucky counters, clapping me on the back and trying his best to herd me to the damn door. God, I hate this motherfucker. I leave with him. I know he’s already suspicious. I can’t allow that to get worse. I need to get the women safe. I rub my forehead and try to think through the tension. I’m going to have to come up with a plan and fast. I’ll need one of the women to help me. Nicole would be my pick—that woman has spunk and a fire in her eyes. Dragon might be an asshole, but it’s clear he knows how to pick a good old lady. That’s all my mother wanted to be. He took that from her, though. I shake my head. I can’t let those thoughts rule me. As we walk down the small hall to the room where the girls are, I formulate a quick plan. If I can get one of the girls to get my knife out. They can hide it behind them and give me time to grip it and throw it at Lucky. If I just get it myself, he’ll shoot first. There’s one rule in war—never bring a knife to a gunfight. My gut says go with Nicole, but I’ve already noticed from the watching her on the video feed that she has a bad hip. She favors it and it slows her down. What I need done, is going to have to be quick. As I walk in, the girls stare at me, waiting. I think Nicole halfway trusts me, but I can’t be positive. I grimace and mouth the word wait to her once my back is turned to the camera and I know Lucky is still behind me, so he can’t see. When Lucky steps around me, I hear a small cry. My eyes go to the small blonde cowering behind Nicole. I can see Gabby trembling from here. Lucky walks over to her grabbing by her hair.

“Miss me, blondie?”

Gabby doesn’t answer. She’s trying to pull away from him. He puts his hands around her neck, pressing to the point that I think he’s going to kill her. I tense up and get ready to attack, this is going to go quicker than I thought. I move quickly to stop Nicole from going to help Gabby. I am only going to get once chance here and I can’t let her ruin it.
