I dropped my hand to between her legs and slid my fingers around her wet clit. “Will you play with yourself while I stuff my cock down your throat? Will you finger your pretty cunt and come with me?”

“Yes. Anything.”

I buried my teeth into her shirt and grunted with each thrust, giving her every ounce of me. Her head shifted and pressed to her shoulder as she came, her pussy fluttering around my cock, squeezing like a vise. I fought to pull out just to have her suck me back in. It was too much. Everything became a white noise with only the thundering of my pulse pounding in my ears as I fucked her harder than I ever had before. Like a man possessed, I claimed her until my world exploded and the air was sucked from my lungs and I emptied everything I had inside her willing body.

My hips moved in small thrusts as I came back to earth. My hand had moved to the desk in front of her to support my limp body and her lips pressed across each of my knuckles.

“I think I blacked out for a minute.” I huffed a laugh and rained down kisses where teeth marks marred her shirt. “Did I hurt you?”

“Never.”

Groaning, I slipped from her pussy and fell back in my chair. She remained bent over the desk and I stroked her swollen folds, loving the way she jerked.

“Can I have my panties back?”

“Not a chance in hell.”

She finally stood and shivered as I got rid of the condom and refastened my pants.

“Well, while I have you and we’re sharing good news, I’ll share some good news with you.” She bit her lip and smiled hard before letting her words fall out in an excited rush. “I accepted the apartment. I move in next month which gives me plenty of time to set up for college.”

Any high I’d been riding from being inside her crashed down over me, sucking out every bit of air from my lungs. Somehow I managed to keep a straight face and hide the crushing disappointment. I stared up at her shining eyes and brilliant smile and I knew I couldn’t put a damper on her excitement.

It wasn’t like her moving out meant I was losing her. I just needed to bide my time until eventually, I moved her back in with me. Forever.

I managed a smile and pulled her hand to my lips. “Good. We can go shopping this weekend for some furniture.”

“Just the necessities. I still need to save for everything else.”

“We’ll at least need a bed that I can fuck you in.”

“Do you need a bed for that?” she teased.

“I guess not. I can be pretty creative.”

She tugged me to stand and pressed a kiss to my lips. “Thank you, Erik. For everything.” One more lingering kiss and she stepped back not letting go of my hand until the last second. “I should get back to work. Wouldn’t want the boss to fire me for playing on the job.”

“I think he’ll understand.”

She opened the door and jerked back when she found Jared there with his hand raised to knock.

“Oh, hey Alexandra.”

Alexandra dropped her eyes to the floor and tried to run her hand through her rumpled hair. She looked adorable with the blush staining her cheeks. She mumbled a quick hello and bolted.

Jared let the door close and cocked an eyebrow my way. I merely shrugged and sat back down. “What can I do for you?”

“The chatter about Mr. E has increased. Still elusive, but appears more often.”

I jerked my eyes to his, my mind quickly running through the implication of people talking specifically about me and what it meant.

“Someone has taken the bait and there’s been mention of possibly knowing who you are.”

“How?”

My mind scrambled to make a list of enemies. It was endless. I never targeted anyone specifically, we just went after whoever we found. Anyone could be behind this.

“My first instinct is Alex’s sister. I didn’t want to use your real name with them around and I called you E.”

“Shit.”

“Now that they are appearing more often I think I can stomp out any fires and delete any traces.”

Sighing, I ran my hand through my hair. I needed this taken care of. I didn’t want any of it to blow back for a multitude of reasons. One, it would inhibit my ability to continue my work and another was Alexandra. I couldn’t risk her getting hurt.

“Keep me updated.”

Jared simply nodded and left. I closed my eyes and prayed none of this blew back on Alexandra.

“Nothing is catching my eye. Shouldn’t furniture shopping be easier than this?”

“All of it's cheap. That’s why none of it is appealing,” Erik said, his lip curled up in disgust, eyeing another fancy futon.

It was cheap, but my expectations had been pretty low. The quality of the furniture wasn’t the problem. The fact that my heart wasn’t into picking out things for my apartment was the real issue. Part of me didn’t want to leave Erik’s place. I wasn’t nearly as excited as I came off each time I rattled on about all my independence. But I knew it needed to be done. It was my original plan all along: to move out and finally be free of my past. To live on my own and not have to worry about my grocery money being stolen. To not have to sleep in front of my door in fear someone would sneak into my bed in the middle of the night.
