“Honey! God! You make me feel so fucking good!” He trembled, the vein in the middle of his forehead throbbing, and his complexion deepened.

He released her and she took a breath. “Give me that white liquid gold, baby…”

He clung to her hair and fucked the shit out of her face. She orgasmed again, barely able to hold on, but remained steady to receive his velvety gift… At last, cum filled her mouth as his hips jerked and he yelled out curses. When she’d drained him dry, she swallowed her dessert, got to her feet, and made her way to the restroom to freshen up.

He came in a few minutes after her, and instead of going to the other sink, he bent her over the basin, and shoved his new erection deep inside of her. They stared at one another in the large mirror as he pounded her to oblivion. Items on the counter rattled and tumbled over. The whole room seemed to be shaking. He held onto her shoulder with one hand, and her waist with the other, forcing her into his thrusts as he fucked her ruthlessly from behind. She held onto the basin, her juice pouring down her legs.

“Oh, God! James! We’re… we’re missing… the party!”

“The party is between your fuckin’ legs, and I R.S.V.P’ed. I’m definitely cummin’.”

He kept hammering her until they came at the same time—him roaring, his pumps faster, then slower… and slower… until he had no more to give. When he was finished with her, he quickly washed his face, hands and dick, brushed his teeth, and put his clothes back on.

Still tingling all over, she could barely walk. Her legs felt like they were made of rubber. Without a word, he helped her slip back into her skirt and panties and placed her heels on each foot, fastening them for her. They rejoined the bash, and she was astounded at how well he played that shit off. He was right in the midst of things again, not missing a beat. The man was yelling song lyrics, being funny, offering to get people more food and cigars. Her stomach growled, and she realized she hadn’t eaten all day.

As she made her way to the buffet line, she felt a smack on her ass. She turned to tell him a thing or two, but he was already gone before she could give him a piece of her mind. She tried to wipe the smile off her face, but it was damn near impossible.

Garlic potatoes… oh, these look good… grilled shrimp…

She got to the end of the buffet line and grabbed her utensils. When she looked up, she locked eyes with Irish, who winked at her in an all-knowing way…

CHAPTER TWENTY

…One day later

“You’re not only supposed to go to anger management classes, but you also have to attend a rehabilitation program. The gambling is a problem, and they don’t rehabilitate in prison. They just make us smarter and more dangerous criminals, with an axe to grind.” Archer tossed the paperwork down on his office desk as he glared into Irish’s eyes. She broke eye contact and started fidgeting again. She refused to sit down and kept pacing back and forth, biting her nails. “Stop chewing on your fingers.”

She stopped walking and turned to face him.

“Yeah… rehab. I haven’t been to a casino in a long time, James.”

“That’s ’cause you were locked up!” As they went back and forth, Michael Jackson’s, ‘Why’ played on Sirius FM. “You’ve been running numbers and gambling in there this entire time, and you and I both know it.”

“I never denied it. I had to get money, some kind of way.” Her lip twisted and brows bunched. “You stopped sending as much. You’re stingy.”

“Because you were gambling it away, and using it to control other inmates.”

She shrugged. “James, stop acting like some priest from behind that chair. We’re both felons. You must be feeling pretty high and mighty since you’ve stayed under the radar.”

“You know damn well that I don’t. I just don’t want to lose you again.” A swell of emotion roiled within him. “We’re all we ever had. We used to not have anything. I just want you to hold yourself accountable and do what you need to do to reach your goals.”

“Yeah, we used to not have nothin’. But now, I’ve got plenty!” She chuckled. “I’ve got a record—my longest time behind bars. I’ve got a couple restraining orders against me, a child I lost custody of, and an ex-husband who jumps between Michigan and Denver, and refuses to let me see my kid. Yeah, I’ve got a lot shit, don’t I?”

“You have one day, twenty-four hours, to have this pity party, Irish, and then I want you to get the fuck over it. You had all of those problems before you left prison. You’ve had years to sit with this and deal with it.” She rolled her eyes and started pacing again. “I told you we’d get a lawyer for this custody crap, but first, you have to have somethin’ to show for yourself. A job. Your own place. Then you’ll be able to fight David in court to get at least visitation with Tyler.” She nodded in agreement and walked over to the other side of his office, messing with a wooden pencil holder. “Admiring something else, huh? If I find one motherfucking thing in this house has been stolen in order to be hawked, I don’t give a shit if it’s a piece of lint out of my belly button, your ass is grass.”
