It had been everything I’d hoped for, more than everything I ever dreamed of.

And as much as I wanted to claim her fully—something that was constantly on my mind—I was content with what she gave me. Her affections and attention were a gift.

I was happy and pleased, and for the first time in my life I felt centered, like that missing piece I’d always had was finally in place.

I lifted a hand and rubbed my palm over my chest, knowing the perfect way to either start or end our afternoon meal was with my face between her thighs as I devoured her.

Time to put a smile on my wife’s face, because she gave me one every second of every day.

Prima

We’d just finished our matr—meal—and I could practically feel the heat coming from Fen as he sat across from me. His focus was on me as he took an especially red, plump strawberry and brought it to his mouth, taking a bite, his white teeth sinking into the seeded flesh.

“Your meal was pleasurable?”

I nodded and shivered at the way he said that last word, one that was deep and sounded oh so sexual. And by the way a slow grin curved his lips, I knew he definitely meant it sexually.

“Are you happy?” He leaned forward and braced his thickly muscled forearms on the table, pushing away all the dishes and horn goblets in the process.

“Yes,” I whispered, unsure if he heard the whispered word, but when he hummed in clear approval, I knew it had filtered to him.

“It pleases me immensely to know you’re happy.”

I heard my heart racing in my ears, felt the steady thump-thump, thump-thump in my chest.

“Come here,” he coaxed low but in a tone that was full of aggressive need, in a way that said he needed me close, like I needed to be close.

I placed my palms on the smooth wooden top of the table, rose slowly, and found my knees felt weak as I made my way over to Fen.

Instantly my body reacted with arousal the closer I got to him. I could smell the dark, spicy aroma that seemed to surround him, his very own pheromone that had my body burning like a wildfire in the mountains.

When I was right in front of him, he just leaned back and stared at me, the most intense look I’d ever seen thus far covering his face. His eyes were hooded, his pupils dilated from what I could see. And then he lifted his arm and slowly, so slowly, curled his fingers around my waist, pulling me a step closer at the same time he widened his thighs so that I could stand between them.

My breath was moving in and out of me harshly, my lips parted, every single inch of me feeling ultrasensitive at his nearness. My breasts felt full, my nipples tight. And then I saw him lower his gaze to said body parts, as if he wanted to look for himself at how he affected me.

A small sound left me, and I grew embarrassed, my face heating.

He slowly, as if he had all the time in the world, looked back into my eyes. I got no warning of what he was doing next except for the gentle tightening of his fingers against my waist before he hauled me forward, my balance getting knocked off.

I braced my hands on his pectoral muscles, my breath leaving me, my pussy tingling. I was so wet between my thighs that when I pressed them together, I felt the slippery proof of what he did to me with just a look, with just the sound of his voice.

“How much did you miss me today?” His tone told me he was barely hanging onto his control. His voice was tight, thick. Just like the way his muscles felt beneath my palms.

Instinctively I curled my fingers against his chest, this deep sound leaving him as if it pleased him that I probably caused a sliver of pain.

In fact, I knew it pleased him by the way his breathing changed. And as I looked lower, it was once again confirmed by the massive, hard outline of his erection straining against his leathers.

I wasn’t going to lie to him. There was no point. I wanted him to know I missed him. So I licked my lips and nodded, whispering, “You were all I thought about all day.”

He made another rough sound, and it reminded me of the wolves that prowled the forest surrounding Kaldir. The noise was so primal and had this feral intensity permeating from him. I was drawn to it, aroused by it.

Where I would be classified as meek and gentle, maybe even weak by many standards, Fen was the opposite. He was strong and big, dangerous and able to take care of any adversary that he was up against with little to no trouble. It made me feel wholly feminine.
