When I look up again, her lust-filled eyes have me gasping for my next breath. “You’re mine forever, dushen’ka.”

“I know,” she whispers as she reaches for me, pressing our foreheads together. Her voice is as shaky as her hand against my neck. “Just as you’re mine.”

CHAPTER THIRTY-FOUR

I’m beyond sore after round three, but I refuse to stop touching him.

It’s well past two a.m., but we lie awake in the afterglow of finally having what we both have wanted. I don’t want this night to end. I lie across Thatcher’s chest, our legs tangled, as he runs his fingers through my hair and down my back. My cheek is pressed right over his heart, the steady thumping hypnotic as I trace the butterfly tattoo on his chest. After a hot and steamy shower where he took me against the tile, I should be ready for bed.

But I can’t sleep.

Not yet.

I can’t help but replay everything that happened. The date, the reminiscing, the many orgasms, and how feral Thatcher looked pushing his come inside me every time he filled me up. My heart skips a beat at the thought of carrying his child again. Is it too soon? Did we not think this through? We’re living with our parents, for fuck’s sake. Plus, what are we? Are we boyfriend/girlfriend? Engaged? Or are we just going to do what we did before and exist together?

I turn my head, leaning my chin into his chest so I can look up at him. He looks so peaceful with his lids heavy, and when he notices I’m staring at him, he grins with happiness in his eyes.

“Hi.”

My lips quirk at the silliness of his word, yet I reply, “Hi.”

He strokes his fingers along my cheekbone. “You okay?”

I nod. “More than okay.”

He threads his fingers into my hair, massaging my scalp as his eyes continue to stare into mine. “I was a bit rough in the shower.”

“Yeah, I’ll be sore tomorrow. Or rather, later on.”

He chuckles. “Don’t worry. I’ll take care of Arwen so you can rest.”

I bring in my brows. “No, I don’t want that. I want us to spend the day together before you leave.”

“I want that too. I’m just saying I won’t find a private moment to rail you.”

I send him a saucy grin, shifting my hips so that I rub my center against his cock. “But I want that too.”

He squeezes my butt. “I’ll give you whatever you want.”

I kiss his chest just as he kisses my forehead. When I lift my head, he’s watching me again. “I’m going to miss you like crazy while I’m gone.”

“Same,” I say, moving my fingers along his collarbone. “It’s going to be hard on Arwen.”

I feel his heart start to thump a bit louder as he nods. “I don’t want to leave either of you.”

“Maybe we can fly out to a game? I’m sure our dads will take us.”

“I’m sure too.” His eyes dance with excitement at the thought. “Though, I’d rather Arwen’s first game be at home.”

I grin. “This is true.” A wave of sadness envelops me at the thought of being without him for thirteen days. I know I went more than three years, but I just got him back. “We’ll call every chance we get.”

“Absolutely,” he agrees, brushing his thumb along my lip. When he pauses for a second, my brows furrow as I watch the gears in his head grind. “Listen, when I get back, I want us to look for a place for us.”

I nod. “I agree. I was thinking the same.”

“Really?”

“Yeah,” I say with a shy grin. “Since you decided to come inside me, I thought it wouldn’t be a good idea to be living with our parents if you knock me up again.”

His grin is sinful, and I know he’s remembering how he pushed his come inside me so many times. I know I can’t forget it. “They wouldn’t mind.”

I scoff. “I do.” I know he wants to move too. We love our families, but I want us to be together. Just us three. Or four. God, what are we doing? “We really didn’t think this through.”

He raises a brow. “I thought it through just fine.”

I gawk at him. “So, you think it’s a good idea to knock me up when we’ve been back together for three hours?”

He shrugs, the picture of ease. “I’d have knocked you up back at the diner.”

“Thatcher!”

“Truly,” he claims. “Audrina, there is no one but you for me.”

My shoulders drop a bit as my heart swells in my chest. “I feel the same.”

“I’ve known you for twenty-nine years. I know who you are. I love who you are. You are the best mother I’ve ever met, and I’d be crazy to let you go a second time.”

I lean into his touch. “I’m not going anywhere.”
