He began to thrust, pulling almost all the way out, then pushing slowly back inside. Eventually he was able to get balls-deep inside her, every inch in her ass. Galen began to circle her clit with one hand while holding her hip with the other. The combined stimulation had her eyes lolling back in her head. It was too much. It wasn’t enough.

She knew she wouldn’t last long.

“Galen, please. I can’t take it anymore.” It was so intense. She was gasping, squeezing his biceps with one hand, and supporting herself on the counter with the other.

“Come for me.” He rubbed her clit faster. She saw stars, her entire world spiraling out of control. Her pending orgasm crept higher and higher, her body coiled tight. “Squeeze my dick with this tight ass. Make me come.”

She had no control over the massive wave of pleasure that overtook her. It went on and on as she fought for control. Her pussy and ass contracted in deep waves. Galen groaned and pumped faster, filling her ass with cum.

They were both sweaty and panting.

“That was amazing,” he said.

She smiled. “I think we both need that shower now.”

Chapter Eleven

Galen wasn’t entertained.

None of his safe houses were viable. He didn’t like being the fucking pawn between Viko and Petrov. So far, he’d been able to keep Skye safe, but he knew the longer they played this cat-and-mouse game, the higher the risk to her life, and he didn’t want that to happen. Not only had Viko sent Kensington and Slash, but he also had to deal with Ralf, Butcher, and Carson—all of whom he did not get along with.

Most members of the Circle of Monsters didn’t get along. They were all lone wolves, none of them caring for each other’s company. They rarely worked together. And he didn’t like having any of them close to Skye. But, her life was the most important, and Galen knew he needed help keeping her safe. Whatever Skye knew, it was dangerous.

Skye had gotten under his skin, and now he was totally in love with her. Not just in love, but completely fucking obsessed. He no longer wanted to live in a world she wasn’t part of. So, moving every single day was essential.

He hated this game, but even as he spoke to Viko, the owner of the Circle of Monsters, he sounded happier, almost aroused by the battle between him and Petrov.

“Are you okay?” Skye asked, stepping out of the hotel bathroom.

This was what he had resorted to in order to keep her safe. He even kept Slash and Kensington as bodyguards. It was too close a call back at his old safe house. She had nearly been killed.

“Yeah, I’m fine, baby,” he said, reaching for her hand.

She stepped toward him and he took hold of her hand, locking their fingers together.

“You’re angry.”

“I’m not.”

She tilted her head to the side. “Don’t lie to me. I don’t like it.”

He chuckled. “I’m not angry at you. I’m just pissed off. I know I can keep you safe, and I can’t believe Petrov’s game.” If Viko didn’t end him soon, he was going to make the Circle of Monsters seem like a fucking joke, and that pissed him off more than anything.

“Your life would have been so much simpler if you’d just killed me.”

He pulled her onto his lap, wrapping his arms around her body and holding her tightly.

“Don’t say shit like that.”

“The truth…” she asked.

He shook his head. “No, that’s not the truth.”

“You wouldn’t be running now.”

“That’s wrong. Petrov would have sent men after me. All of this is part of his cleanup plan. I was going to end up dead if I took you out or not.”

She put her palm to his cheek. “Don’t say that.” She sighed. “I can’t … I don’t want to think of you hurting in any way.”

Galen was surprised as she leaned down and kissed him. For as long as he remembered, a caring touch had been so foreign to him. There hadn’t been a woman he was willing to get close to. No one he ever wanted. Women were just things to use for pleasure. No one had been important to him until Skye. She was everything.

Kissing her back, he slowly moved his hand up to sink into her hair, holding her in place. He loved this woman so fucking much. All he wanted to do was fuck her, but with how hectic the past few days had been, he knew there was no chance of that. Not until they were safer.

Galen pulled away even though it was the last thing he wanted to do. “Get dressed,” he said. “I’ll go and see where our food is.”

“Okay.”

He didn’t want to reject her, but for now, he had to keep his dick in his pants. Getting to his feet, he didn’t look back at her, but instead made his way outside the door.
