I reach across and curl my fingers around his cock, working up and down as King hardens beneath me.

I adjust myself on top of him and he instantly slips inside before Cruz climbs off the bed and moves in behind me, tilting me forward, and preparing to rock my fucking world all over again.

CHAPTER 27

“Where the hell is it?” I whine, my stomach growling as I clamber across the couch, throwing myself over Carver’s lap and diving for Grayson’s phone.

I quickly unlock it, using the code that’s become all too famous around here—0225, my birthday. I lie half sprawled across Carver with my ass staring right up at his face, his hands up in the air as though he doesn’t know what the hell to do with them now.

I can practically see his objections on the tip of his tongue, but I beat him to it as I focus on Grayson’s phone. “It’s just an ass, Carver. I know that you’re a little gun-shy when it comes to women, and you clearly have no idea what you’re doing, but chill the fuck out, it’s not going to bite you.” I hear King and Cruz smothering their laughs across the room, and I whip my head up, grinning right back at them as I wiggle my ass for good measure. “Go on,” I challenge him. “I dare you to touch it.”

Carver grunts, clearly not impressed, but if I’m being honest, I’d say Carver would know exactly what to do with an ass, maybe even better than King or Cruz. I flick through the pages of Grayson’s apps, and before I even know what’s happening, Carver’s hands are ramming into my hips and I go flying off his lap.

My body topples to the ground as a loud squeal tears out of me. Grayson’s phone flies under the coffee table as Carver’s foot shoots out, breaking my fall so that I don’t fuck my hip in the process. My chest hits the cold marble tiles and I gasp at the chill as Grayson snickers, desperately trying to mask his laugh, but failing miserably.

I roll onto my side and glare up at Carver, kicking my foot out only for him to catch it and throw it back at me, making me roll back against the coffee table. “What the hell?” I shriek, trying to get comfortable before sliding my hand under the table and feeling around for Grayson’s phone.

Carver just laughs, more than pleased to have gotten the best of me. “Serves you right for shoving your ass in my face,” he grumbles as my arm gets stuck under the coffee table. “Maybe next time you get up and walk around me like a normal human being.”

“Maybe next time I might knee you in the balls,” I mutter under my breath as I try to wriggle my arm free while Lady Dante decides it’s a good idea to come and cover my face in slobbery doggy kisses. Usually, I wouldn’t mind too much, but she only just ate her dinner. Someone needs to remind this dog that she needs to take a mint before going in for the full tongue kisses.

Getting my arm free, I make myself comfortable on the ground, making a point of not moving off Carver’s foot just to be a pain. I bring Grayson’s phone up and go through the whole process of unlocking it and scanning through all his apps until I get to the final page. “Where did you order from?” I ask him, quickly glancing up and meeting his stare as my stomach grumbles again. “UberEats or Menulog?”

“Menulog.”

I click into the app and look over our order, trying to figure out just how long until our dinner is supposed to arrive. We’ve been waiting for over an hour and my stomach can’t possibly take it anymore.

My whole world crashes as I look up at Grayson with my bottom lip pouting out and the devastation washing right over me. “I don’t know how you did it, but you’ve ordered our dinner from a store in Australia.”

“What?” he grunts, reaching down and snatching the phone out of my hand. He quickly scans over the order and I watch as his face falls. “How the fuck did I do that?”

“Shit,” Carver grumbles. “That’s a long fucking wait for dinner.”

“Pizza?” Cruz asks, pulling out his own phone as King laughs at the whole situation, somehow still concentrating solely on the TV screen as he plays some ridiculous game on the PlayStation.

Realizing that it’s still going to be ages until I get to eat, I get up off the ground and cross to King. I duck under his arms and slide up onto his lap without interrupting his game, and only then when he thinks I’m here to cuddle, I tear the controller right out of his hands and take over, having absolutely no idea what the hell I’m doing.
