“I do work late.” I find myself shocked, defending my own actions when I shouldn’t have to because I don’t know this woman, and I have a male assistant who I’m sure as fuck not sticking it to. None of this is even real, but I’m starting to enjoy this little repartee with my beauty. Her fight is adorable, although I really hope she isn’t Mrs. Mohr, because he’s a dead man.

“Quit lying to me. I refuse to be yours anymore. This game? It’s over.” She stands up in front of me, her pussy an inch from my face, only bringing her scent closer.

“The hell it is. Sit down, Cupcake. We’re working this out. God, you smell so damn good.” I cup her hips, hold her still, bring my face close, and breathe her in before sitting her ass back on the sofa beside me. She gasps, face heated and hungry.

“So, Mr. Mohr, do you deny the affair?” If she was in my bed, I’d have no time for any pussy but hers.

“Of course I do, but this little one has her claws out like she has some proof. Come on, Cupcake. Prove it. Prove that I’ve been unfaithful to you. Tell the good doctor that I’ve been putting my big motherfucking cock in someone else’s pussy.” I grab my thick length that’s currently stretching out my slacks.

Her face turns completely red. “Ugh, I hate you.” She slaps me right across the face. I suppose I deserve that. She storms right past us, but she’s not getting far.

“Session’s over,” I snarl, standing and looking right at the doctor, who’s lucky I’m going after my woman. “If you ever accuse me of betraying my wife again, I’ll rip your dick off and stuff it up your ass. You ever lay eyes on my wife again, and I will kill you.”

Taking my leave of his shitty office before he can say anything else, I pull out my phone and call my men. “A petite brunette in a long-sleeved green and white sundress is heading toward an exit. If you find her before I do, nab her. Don’t harm a hair on her head, or it will be the last thing you do.”

“Sure, Gio.”

“Not a word to anyone, understood?”

“Yes.”

I end the call, tuck the phone back in my pocket, and hunt her down. When I make it down the hall, I see the detective who was at Matteo’s house the day before. Interesting.

Is our accountant working with that prick, too? Or is that bastard following me? I need the names of everyone working in this building.

Ducking out of his way, I go through the stairwell, and that’s when I hear the heels clicking. Dipping my head over the railing, I get a glimpse of her. Fucking cute.

She’s out first, but she has no idea that my men will see her once she reaches the fresh air. Samson steps in her path and startles her, causing her to freeze outside. She backs up into the revolving doors and into my chest. I wrap my arms around her and chuckle against her ear. “Wife, where are you going?”

“Hold the door for Mrs. Mohr, please,” I say, grinning while trying to figure out my next move. There’s no way I can keep her hostage for too long. This building probably has a dozen cameras.

“Did we wipe the surveillance on the building?” I ask my men as I get my woman into the vehicle.

“Yes, but there are things we need to discuss without company,” Samson says, tipping his head toward my pretty little captive.

“Then we will, as soon as we get my wife home.” I tug off my tie because it suddenly feels restrictive.

“Oh, great, you’re dropping me off at my place. That’s wonderful. That’s nice of you to play along and everything,” she says, patting my chest. Fuck. Her hand on my chest only makes me harder.

“What’s your name?” I ask, fighting off the urge to pin her down on the leather backseat and make her scream my name.

“Patty.” So she’s going to play that first-name bullshit. It’s cute, but soon, all the information will be in the palm of my hands.

“I think I prefer Cupcake. So who the fuck were you running from in there?” Whoever the bastard is will have to deal with me.

“That’s not your business.” There’s a deafening silence in the SUV, and it’s almost laughable that they’re worried about how she’s speaking to me.

I chuckle. “No, that’s where you’re wrong. See, I let you get away with a lot of shit in there with that perverted doctor who wanted to bend you over, and let’s just say I won’t let that happen again. Who were you running from?”

“I wasn’t running from anyone.” What a fucking little liar.

“Fine. You won’t answer me; that’s okay.” I nod, smirking at her deceitful ass.
