She stiffened, lifting her upper body a few inches off the mattress. The action caused her nipples to drag across the comforter.

Moments later, she came a third time, milking her Daddy so hard that he followed right behind her on a groan.

When he was finally spent, he stayed inside her, leaned over her body, and held her tight. His lips came to her ear. “You’re the sexiest woman I’ve ever seen, Riley. I’m the luckiest Daddy in the world.”

She certainly felt sexy. Sexier than she’d ever felt in her life.

She was panting, but she eventually managed to find her voice. “You can spank me for a reward any time you want, Daddy.”

He kissed her neck, chuckling. “I believe I will.”

Chapter Twenty-Three

“How did it go?” Ellie asked before Riley even had a chance to clock in Tuesday afternoon.

She was grinning from ear to ear though, unable to keep her happiness at bay. After spending all of Sunday with her Daddy, she spent Monday unpacking and relaxing and finding her way around his house.

When Milo had gone to work, he’d left her with strict instructions to make herself at home and snoop anywhere she pleased. He didn’t have any secrets.

She hadn’t opened any of his drawers or unnecessary cabinets. Nor had she gone into his office because it felt weird to her, but the fact that he’d given her free rein to do so spoke volumes.

“How’d what go?” Riley responded, holding back a giggle.

Ellie leaned her elbows on the island and rolled her eyes. “Don’t try to pretend you have no idea what I’m talking about. I can’t believe you were hiding your talent from all of us, including Milo. Did he spank your bottom when you got home?”

Riley’s face heated, and she tried to hide the evidence. “Not that day.”

“Oh, boy. He made you stew a day?”

Riley took a deep breath, deciding she might as well share the details. “First he made me move in with him.”

“What?” This new question came from Sue as she pushed through to the back room from the front of the shop. “Did you just say you moved in with your hot Daddy?” Sue lifted her hand to dramatically rub the back of it against her forehead as if she were swooning.

Ellie clapped her hands together excitedly. “And then he spanked you?”

Riley’s face heated even further. “Yeah.” She looked down as she tied her apron.

“You don’t look very contrite.” Ellie giggled. “It must not have ended with you standing in the corner or writing sentences.”

“Not exactly,” Riley muttered.

Sue groaned. “You would think if I hang around with you gals long enough, eventually a man will walk through the front door and sweep me off my feet too.”

“He will,” Ellie assured her. “I know it.” Her brow furrowed a moment later as she glanced at the door to the front. “Did Tori come back from lunch yet?”

“No. That’s what I was coming to tell you. She went to the park to eat. It’s not like her to be late returning. Maybe we should send Tarson to go look for her?”

Suddenly, the back door opened and Tori flew into the room. She was very flustered. Her short brown curls were bouncing around more out of control than usual.

Riley stepped toward her. “Are you okay?”

Ellie and Sue joined them, concerned looks on their faces.

Tori licked her lips. She was shaking. “There was a man—”

Riley lurched forward to steady her friend. “Oh, my God. Did someone hurt you?”

Ellie and Sue surrounded her also.

Tori shook her head. “No. Nothing like that. He, uh…” She swallowed. “He talked to me.” Her cheeks turned a dark shade of pink.

Ellie started giggling.

Riley joined in with delighted laughter. She was happy to see her friend so befuddled.

Sue groaned again before she spun around and marched back to the front, grumbling about how everyone but her had all the luck.

“Did you get his number? Was he hot? Is he the one?” Ellie’s questions kept firing without her waiting for responses.

Tori’s hands were trembling as she reached for her apron. “Goodness, no.”

“No to what?” Riley asked. “You didn’t get his number? He wasn’t hot? Or he isn’t the one?”

Tori swallowed hard. “Do I look like I could ask a man for his number without tripping over myself?” She glanced down and took a deep cleansing breath. “Yes, he was hot.” She didn’t answer the last question before she met their gazes. “Doesn’t matter. He has no idea who I am or where I work. I’ll never see him again.”

Ellie smiled as she reached out to pluck the front of Tori’s shirt right where the Little Cakes logo rested. “I’m pretty sure he knows where you work.”

Tori groaned before she swiped a hand over her face, attempted to smooth her curls back to no avail, and shuffled toward the front of the shop. “We have cupcakes to sell.”
