“Really? I pictured your last home being big and roomy like Remy’s…” I trailed off when an ornery smile crossed his lips. “You were talking about the coffin, weren’t you?” He beamed brighter and nodded. “Holy shit, you made a joke.”
“Did you like it?”
“I loved it.” I especially loved seeing his silly side, and his positivity, even when he’d been in such a terrible position. I kissed him and promised, “I’ll be quick; I’m just going to go change and then we can get back to our day.”
Viggo nodded, but then followed me into my bedroom. I didn’t mind. In fact, I made a show of removing my clothes slowly, eating up the way his eyes darkened as he watched, and when he told me again and again how gorgeous I was.
I couldn’t stop my body from reacting; my cock grew firm beneath his intense gaze. I wanted to fling myself on the bed and let him have his filthy way with me, but I was starving, and excited for the plans I had for him. I knew once I got him in bed, I wouldn’t let him out until his balls were drained inside out and he couldn’t walk.
So, I crammed my aching dick into a pair of boxer briefs and stepped into a pair of jeans and sneakers. I pulled on a plain black t-shirt and asked, “Still gorgeous?” I was totally fishing for his compliments; I was addicted to them.
“You look perfect in any state of dress,” he replied, and my body rocked with a shiver. I loved the way he spoke. I assumed that he would adjust to modern-day language and slang after a while, but until then, I would enjoy every second of his old world charm.
It was difficult to leave the bedroom, but my hunger pushed me along. We loaded back into my car and I drove us to Harper’s Diner.
“This place is one of my favorites,” I told Viggo as we walked inside. The restaurant was full of booths covered in white and red checked tablecloths. I had been here often enough to know we could sit anywhere we liked, so I led him to an empty booth in the back corner, where he sat on the bench seat next to me.
“You’re going to love the food here,” I told him confidently, passing him one of the menus that rested on the tabletop. “They make everything fresh and from scratch.”
“What do you suggest I order?”
“There’s not a bad option,” I replied honestly. “They offer breakfast all day, so I’m thinking about getting the waffles. I also really like their cheeseburgers, though. I’m torn.”
“Why not get both?”
I tipped my head back and hummed. “Mm, that’s the hottest thing you’ve said to me.”
Viggo chuckled as he continued to look over his options. “I think I will order the roast beef. It was always one of my favorite foods.”
I nodded just as the waitress came by. We placed our order and once we were alone again, I asked him, “What were some of your favorite things to do?” I’d learned all about his sad story, but was curious about the happy parts too.
“Well, as Remy mentioned, we met in a pub. I always enjoyed visiting them and observing the people around me as I listened to their stories and had a beer.”
“Okay, I have to see drunk Viggo,” I insisted, but he only chuckled.
“It’s not possible for…my kind to become intoxicated,” he replied, making sure to keep the word from his lips. “Alcohol is essentially poison, so our bodies quickly filter it away before its effects hit us. I just enjoyed the flavor of the drink and atmosphere of the pub.”
“Too bad; I was excited to see you get loose. We’ll definitely visit some bars, though. There are all kinds of delicious poisons nowadays, and I’ll get loose enough for both of us. I know I’ll be safe with you there to watch over me.”
“Always,” he promised seriously, making me smile.
“So, was there anything else besides pubs and people watching?”
“Sometimes musicians would play on the street corners, and I enjoyed listening to them.”
“People still do that,” I told him, and he smiled brightly. “Plus, there are always concerts happening around here. You can find any kind of music. That’s one thing I love about the city; there are so many options.”
“Are there still plays?”
“Oh yeah. There are tons of theaters around town. I haven’t seen a lot of plays; only a couple on field trips in school, but I’d love to go with you. We’ll check out some movies, too.” Viggo tilted his head, and I explained, “They’re like plays, but they don’t happen live. You watch the story on a screen instead of seeing the actors in person.”
“Fascinating.” I wasn’t surprised Viggo was interested in music and theater; the guy oozed class. “I would very much like to see a movie together.”
