Axel pressed a kiss to the top of her head. She closed her beautiful green eyes momentarily. “We just wanted to show you that we both want you, and we’re okay with you needing both of us,” he told her.

Her eyes reopened. “It’s unfair to both of you.”

“No, baby, it’s not.” I reached up to cradle her beautiful face in my hands. “Axel and I both want this; we want you, baby girl.”

“I’m not losing you—either of you, right?” she asked, running her eyes over my face. She knew I would never fucking lie to her.

“No,” Axel and I answered at the same time.

“We’re okay with whatever you want,” I swore to her. “We just want you, and we want you to be happy and taken care of.”

Axel pressed a kiss to her temple. “Let’s get you bathed and in bed, sweet girl. Your legs are still shaking.”

I laughed softly as I took her in my arms. Axel grabbed her body wash and began to lather it over her as I worked on washing her hair. She was content—not smiling, but she wasn’t frowning either.

She did, however, look dead on her feet.

Once she was completely bathed, I gently lifted her into my arms and handed her over to Axel. She shot her eyes to me. “He’s going to put you to bed, baby girl. I’ll be in bed with you in a couple of minutes, okay?”

She nodded and rested her head on his shoulder, her eyes shutting. Axel stepped out of the shower and carried her out of the bathroom.

I leaned my head back and stared up at the ceiling as I drew in a deep breath.

God, am I doing the right thing?

This shit we were doing would be frowned upon by most of society, and I knew that would bother her. I, however, didn’t give a fuck. As long as she was happy, that was all that fucking mattered to me. But I knew how much Meghan listened to other people.

I shook my head the tiniest bit and quickly finished my shower so that I could get in bed with her.

When I stepped out of the shower and dried off, Axel was stepping into the room as well, a pair of sweatpants slung low on his hips. Meghan was lightly snoring in the center of my king-sized bed. He shrugged at me. “She asked me to come back,” he whispered. “But I can go.”

I shook my head. “If she wants you here, then give her what she wants,” I told him as I yanked on a pair of sweats.

Axel nodded and slid under the covers in front of Meghan. She was facing him, but she subconsciously snuggled closer to him when she felt his body heat. I slid in behind her and spooned her from behind, adjusting her head and my arm so her head was lying on it.

I pressed a soft kiss to her cheek. “I love you, baby girl,” I whispered.

I let my eyes slide closed. This entire situation would take some getting used to, but I had to admit, it gave me comfort knowing that Meghan had all that she needed between the two of us, and that was all that I could ask for.

I stepped into the kitchen where I could hear Julian and Axel talking about Julian’s upcoming football season. It made me nervous when I thought about Julian having to travel, no longer being around all the time with me.

But Axel would still be around, which helped my anxiety a bit.

But also, that thought made me even more nervous for different reasons. Things had gotten mixed up last night. I had enjoyed every little second of it.

But what did that mean for now? What was going to happen?

I hated the unknown.

My hands shook lightly. I gripped the edges of my robe and pulled it tighter around me. I was dressed in a t-shirt and panties under it. Walking around in a robe while both men were here was normal for me, but now, I felt exposed and unsure.

I cautiously stepped into the kitchen, my eyes nervously flickering between the two shirtless, very ripped men in the room. Julian pushed off from his position against the counter and walked over to me. “Good morning, baby girl,” he softly greeted before he wrapped an arm around me and pulled me into him. He leaned down and softly kissed me, momentarily pushing away all my nervousness and uncertainty.

“You okay, sweet girl?” Axel asked when Julian pulled back.

I turned to look at him, my green eyes locking on his dark ones. They pulled me in, making me feel safe and comforted. Julian pressed a kiss to my forehead. I slowly shook my head at Axel, my throat closing up. “I don’t know how to feel.”

Axel set his cup of coffee on the counter and held his hand out to me. I stared at his hand. My feet felt rooted to the floor. His eyes stayed steady on mine though, letting me take this step with him at my own pace. Julian began to coax me, but Axel shook his head. “Don’t push her. She’ll come to me when she’s ready,” he told his best friend, but his eyes never left mine.
