He gives me a small frown as if he didn’t expect me to ask him that. “I don’t know.…Well, they texted me and I told them what was up.”

I nod at Hayden, a little unsure why I feel the need to be so involved in what’s going on with him. Why I feel like I’m taking him under my wing when in reality, I know he doesn’t need it.

“So what about tonight? I think you’re set with Horny Sailor. But if you need me, you know where to find me.”

Hayden pulls his shirt on, then turns to his dresser, takes out a pair of underwear, drops his towel and pulls them on. They’re little, hugging his tight ass just right, and I sort of want him to just stay here so I can bury my face in it.

“Thanks. I’ll remember that. I’m sure I’ll be fine, though.” He turns back to face me.

“Your package looks good.”

“I know.” Hayden winks. “And what about you? You’ve been awfully busy trying to get me laid. I’m pretty sure the only time you’ve come recently has either been with yourself or me.”

He’s right about that. “Hmm. Maybe I’ll call up this buddy of mine. He likes to play from time to time. I’m not sure I have it in me for Grindr tonight. Are there cookies? It smelled like cookies when I came in.”

Hayden laughs, pulls out a pair of dark blue jeans, and slips them on. “Yes, there are cookies. Double chocolate.”

I drop my head back and moan. “Oh, God. I love double chocolate. Maybe I don’t even need to call my buddy. I can just jerk off to your cookies.”

He laughs, runs a hand through his hair a few times, and then grabs his glasses off the dresser and slips them on. “How do I look?”

“I’d fuck you.”

“You were just talking about masturbating to cookies. I don’t think it takes a lot for you!”

Okay, so maybe he has me there. I push off his bed. “I think you will have zero problems getting ass today—Horny Sailor or not. Have fun.” I wink at him and walk out of the room. I make a quick stop in the kitchen where I grab a handful of cookies, before I call, “I’m going to annoy Travis and Gary. See you later.”

Hayden walks out of his room. “I’ll call you if I need an SOS tonight.”

I nod, open the door and then he speaks again, “Thank you again, Cody…for everything.”

I pause, look over my shoulder and smile at him. “Now don’t you go thinking I’m sweet on you too.” And then I walk out of the condo.

Hayden

A threesome doesn’t sound like such a bad idea right now.

I already keep replaying a mental image of me, Cody, and Finn messing around. And now that I’m on my way to meet him for a couple of drinks at Pump, it’s something I can’t get out of my head…even as I try to push it to the back of my mind.

But the fact that I have such hot chemistry with Cody and knowing this kid is from out-of-town with surely the sole intention of getting a good lay out of tonight makes the idea that much more enticing.

As much as I’ve enjoyed fucking around with Cody, I really enjoy having him as a buddy. I’ve learned to value that in Gary and Derek. They’re good guys who deserve all the happiness in the world. They’re the kinds of guys who would give you the shirts off their backs. Although, with Derek, maybe just so he could bust out some moves on the dance floor.

I pat my back pocket to make sure I remembered my wallet. I can feel the bulge where I shoved a couple of condoms and a packet of lube in case he wanted to go back to his hotel room. When we were texting about our date tonight, he mentioned he was staying at the W down the street. Still, Metropolis is closer, so I figure that’s where we’ll end up.

I head in to Pump, still chuckling at Cody using the words sweet on you before he left. I figure he must’ve heard that in a movie or something because that’s such a weird thing to say.

I spot Finn at the bar, chatting with the bartender, who laughs with him as I approach. At first, the bartender eyes me with contempt, as though I’m cock-blocking, but he checks me out and his expression shifts quickly. He clearly likes what he sees.

“Hayden!” Finn exclaims in a chipper voice.

He wears a button-up, tie, and slacks. I feel so fucking underdressed in my V neck and jeans. His dark black bangs curl over his forehead; his skin so white it’s like he hasn’t been out in the sun for years.
